But it sounds like someone just said they were from Jax, but they weren't affiliated with the team. 1 Quote

It sure would be odd if they just invented this rule and punishment because Shedeur's feelings were bruised you think they actually may have invented this rule this week? no...come on! Quote

LabattBlue Posted May 1 Posted May 1 What a crazy overreaction. Yes his tablet should have been locked, but it was a dumb prank which has been done dozens of times in recent years. If the kids name wasn’t Sanders, this would be a big nothingburger. 1 3 2 1 Quote

In honor of Sanders being selected in round 5 he should pay it in nickels. Quote
Don Otreply Posted May 1 Posted May 1 His son just got his name covered with white out on the fathers last will and testament, 🤣 1 Quote

The fine is bad enough, you read what people are writing on twitter, they're insane. Calling for jail time, corporal punishment, and worse. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY stanning for Shedeur gave the slightest damn when this happened to Cooper Dejean last year. It's the weirdest cult of personality I've seen in forever. And because people have staked their reputations on him being the next great QB, it will be a constant excuse train until the end. Just watch. I hope I'm wrong. As much as I couldnt stand Dad, he amazed me on the field, and would hope for the same with Shedeur but I think there's a collective delusion going on. Quote
Saint Doug Posted May 1 Posted May 1 This seems incredibly overblown. No one was harmed or was ever at risk. 1 Quote

Let the fine be taxes on an extra $100,000 made. Make the son pay that. Edit: actually, I don’t blame the son. It was the dude who was way too casual with private contact information. Ethan in Cleveland Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Mason Graham got pranked as well by someone pretending to be Stefanski. But they called him after the Browns had already called him. It was recorded. It was a Buckeyes fan and Graham is from Michigan. Still don't understand why the father got fined for the son's actions? NFL trying to send a message so their signature off season event doesn't get tarnished. Quote

You talk about weird cult of personality , maybe we just see a crappy thing being done to a kid on a very difficult day for him. You seem to be really offended that people are sympathetic to Sanders. And stop with the what about ism with DeJean, he was selected 40th overall, and he wasn't pranked from access to an NFL coaches private information on his to contact DeJean. Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Sanders has had a bunch of bad publicity It's a prank call, it's a joke (I'm sure sanders doesn't really care either, as they put the film out) Want to know how to gain a lot of respect of future teammates and fans all around, showing you can take a joke Pay the mans $100k fine or donate to his charity as I'm sure he has one Quote

It's ridiculous to ask him to pay some jerks $100k fine. Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Jeff Ulbrich is a huge douchebag. Firing Saleh and promoting him was a step down, and that's saying something because Saleh was a true meathead. Not the least bit surprising Ulbrich has a kid who is enough of a dumbass to do this AND apparently not realize he was going to get caught. 1 Quote
