If they do go safety at 72 with [Winston/Mukuba/Bowman/Sanker] - and i'd really rather they didn't reach there, 109 was perfect for a couple of those guys to be on the board - then there are developmental type edges for the 5th round like Fadil Diggs or Elijah Ponder.

I remember when Jordy Nelson dropped that wide open pass against us in 2014. Would have won the game for Green Bay; instead we got a safety on Rogers.

Jordan Davis was the 360 lb run stopper that allowed everyone else to chase down mahomes.

 

You have to stop the run first before you can rush the passer.

Now go get Thornton or Bond and I'll be okay with the first couple pics even though the draft again didn't really fall our way. However, I do like the cornerback that they picked and we certainly needed one even though he's on the short and light side. The Bill's have to have somebody with speed that can cover and close on a lot of these fast wide receivers so we don't have to sit back 10 to 15 yards in zone constantly and get chewed apart.
