I saw max yesterday when it happened. He was "done" imo. Tre White consoled him as the trainer helped him up. Looked like they chatted and prayed together. The original Bills video has been edited now to show more of Max walking off with the trainer. But when it broke on X, Max seemed down and very upset.

In my opinion, he has a bad knee injury and we are in trouble at CB.

It took like 10 days to get confirmation on Von's tear. They probably suspect a tear, but aren't 100% certain yet because of swelling. If the injury was a nothingburger, we'd have gotten news by now. I'm expecting the worst at this point, but this is just my 1000 mile take based on following football for 40 years.

That may be true but usually there’s more than one non confirmed source putting that out there. Also, they’re stating that it’s 100% confirmed so that would go against your point.

For example, when the Seahawks third string running back just to his ACL, it was all over the legitimate news that they were concerned he tore his ACL. Where is all of that speculation from legit sources on this one… Could just be different teams, but it seems like there would be more rumor out there than just one site

Same thing with Kohou on the fins.  He went out of practice on Saturday and confirmed it yesterday.  Could be a bit until anything for sure comes to light.

I'm sure tomorrow morning it will be "we are still monitoring to see where he's at"

Which is why real news sources require double confirmation.  All these podcasters don't care.  They would rather be 1st to report it than be right.

Yep. Throw it all at the wall and see what sticks.

Just to clarify, I was referring to the Bills not having 100% confirmation on the injury, not any news/social media site.  We know the Bills play these things close to the vest.

I said it before but it bears repeating: in all my years of watching football, I’ve never seen or heard of anyone collapsing to the ground after a non contact knee injury that didn’t involve tearing a ligament. I hope this is the first case ever so I’ll have a reference to draw from in the future.

They’re just going to have 3 sports orthopedic surgeons all

look at his mri +\- physical exam. And then they’ll report it. It’s just taking some time lining up doc appointments. Cursed bills team. Yet another 1-2 round draft pick we will get nothing out of

My actual guess is they have a suspicion nothing confirmed yet and they don't like that someone "confirmed" it. Hope I'm wrong. Really think he's a huge factor in winning a Super Bowl. But I do have faith in Tre/Strong. They're just missing that elite speed element

That’s positive

I don't know/understand Twitter, but his account has a blue checkmark and he appears to have 1K plus followers.

Is it safe to say that's his actual Twitter account? Did he comment that and then delete it?

It's from the same tweet that confirmed he tore his ACL and then deleted (if it ever actually existed in the first place).  It's all speculation at this point and no one knows what's true except for the people at 1BD.

Could have said it and deleted it.  Could be photoshopped.  Could be from a completely unrelated tweet that someone screenshot 1 minute after he posted it and then just reposted it in this context.

This feels exactly like the day after the Thanksgiving Saints game, waiting for the news on Tre. We knew it was bad, but kept finding optimism in the delay in the news breaking, only for them to eventually confirm what we likely already knew.

If Hairston actually knows something about his knee, I wonder why he wouldn’t just come out and say it rather than posting vague or ambiguous messages.

because this is how Diggs does it, Cryptic!
