Nakua, despite his name, can kiss his dreams of playing in the NFL away now that he has assaulted a fan. No team will touch him after this. The NFL is not bush league.

These are the kind of guys that Beane gets derided for not drafting. Character is certainly not a quality that should be overlooked.

On a positive note, the Defenders completed the largest comeback in UFL history this past weekend and won 37-33.

If you haven't watched any yet, tune in. Without a preseason or terribly long training camp, about mid season is when these teams come into their own.

Having more than one hobby / interest is a good thing…,

And if football is one of them, there are now more ways to enjoy it.

I've watched bits and pieces. They could do a better job marketing former NFL players. I fully expect that one day soon, the NFL's greed will send everything crashing down. Having the UFL will be handy when it happens.

Start with Samson Nacua!

I mean I *am* that addicted but I've been cord cutting.

What has been great is that I sprung for NFL+ Premium for $100 a year. So not only did I get Red Zone and radio streams as an out of town fan I got all the replay. I think I want to rewatch the San Fran snow game, that was a fun one

I've tried. A few times. Every time a new league is launched. I just can't get into it.

Reminder: the NBA and Stanley Cup playoffs are great!

The UFL is really struggling at the gate this year. Birmingham has been the best team for years and used to average 17K. St. Louis had crowds approaching 40K.

Michigan is playing Arlington right now. Take a look at the Michigan QB Bryce Perkins (#3) and tell me what you'd think of him a  Bills backup?

I swear....the first 50 mins of all these games are horrific, and somehow they all end up coming down to the final 2 mins. I have no doubt the refs are helping with this (flags thrown at oppertune times, sounds farmiliar 🙄) but Whatev, I guess it's fairly entertaining. Pretty good bham/Houston game right now

Yesterday's Michigan/Arlington game was won with no time on the XP.

At least with the refs you can hear the conversations on calls.

That is what I like about the UFL. I think the refs are much better with the transparent instant replay. You see what the replay officials see on screen, and he discusses why the play is ruled. They draw lines on the replay shots so you know that the ruling is right. Wish the NFL would be transparent like that. With the NFL getting money from gambling, it affects the refereeing too much. Transparency helps keep the UFL honest. I also like the 1,2,3 point extra point rule after a touchdown. It helps keep teams stay alive in close-scoring games at the end of those games. QB and WR play sucks, but the reffing and rules make the games more enjoyable.

I remember watching him play at Virginia. Always liked his play. Getting Viriginia to 8 and 9 wins says something in and of itself. Wouldn't hate him for a camp arm. He is a similar "style" play to Josh. Big boy, rocket arm, and insane competitor.

UFL has a similar agreement with Uderdog Gaming, by the way.

For the NFL, It's essentially a licensing agreement.

"These agreements make all four operators eligible to purchase NFL in-game commercial units and other select NFL media inventory.

This past April, the NFL announced its first-ever U.S. sportsbook partnerships with Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings and FanDuel. As part of those deals, in addition to having the exclusive right to leverage NFL marks within the sports betting category, integrate into NFL O&O properties, and activate around retail and online sports betting, Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings and FanDuel may also leverage their Approved Sportsbook Operator status to secure premium NFL advertising inventory during games and around ancillary programming."

It has nothing to do with refereeing....
