NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is retiring, the team announced on Saturday.

The team said that Carr had a labral tear and degenerative rotator cuff damage to his right throwing shoulder which was discovered in late March after Carr ramped up throwing to prepare for the season. The team said that Carr had not thrown significantly since he fractured his non-throwing hand during a game against the New York Giants in December.

Carr was a decent QB. Nothing more, nothing less. Made himself a boatload of cash in the process. Good for him. 
 

It’s also news like this as to why the Bills should be going all in on trying to win a Super Bowl. You just never know.
