Yeah, and who cares if he’s crazy 2-3 years from now. He would’ve made a huge difference for us.

Mcbeane needs to get over wanting “Their” guys. Buffalo needs about 3 difference makers. If they are hard to deal with its on the HC to make it work.  Diggs may turnout to be Mcdermott’s biggest failure especially, if it makes them afraid of Aj Brown or George Pickens type player.  Bill lost his fast ball in NE when he only wanted to coach a certain type of guy.  That is becoming the Bills.  Want a certain type of guy and reluctant to bring in somebody that doesnt fit that.

And he’s in his contract year…Cowboys can get two more years of Pickens in a “contract year” by franchising him, or let him walk and get back a 3d round comp pick.

The 2025 version of George Pickens would be, inarguably, the 2nd best player on the Bills behind Josh. He’s on pace for 104/1629/12. For perspective, that would be the best year a Bills WR ever had.

You could make an excellent case that Pickens is the second best WR in the NFL…I would imagine that Steelers fans aren’t super thrilled…

I think that he’s a 1st team all-pro with JSN if the season ended today

After last season ended, I was hoping very hard that the Bills would go after Davante Adams and do whatever cap maneuvering they needed to do to get him. It stuck in my craw last mid-season that they couldn't get him (I realize it was always unlikely given their cap situation, but still, where there's a will there's a way with regard to the cap), and now seeing him feast for the Rams on a 2-year 44-million dollar contract really bugs me.

Maybe this week OBD will leak that Beane was in on Adams, Pickens and Metcalf, but they just didn’t want to come here, or some other such nonsense.  The common theme is that this administration is always a day late and a dollar short when it comes to finding a force multiplier for the most talented QB in the team’s history.

We just watched his team come back from down 21 with him as the best player on the field. In today’s NFL, you could argue that “top WR” is the 2nd most important position in football. They can win games. Elite pass rusher is the other option. We’ve watched Myles Garrett rip off 13 sacks over the last 4 games and they’re still the Browns. LT would be next followed by interior pass rush. The Bills consciously decided to not address WR. That’s wild.

Absolutely amazing.

Cowboys are way behind and he goes up and makes an amazing acrobatic catch 40 yards down the field with 2 eagles draped all over him including Cooper dejean. He out leaps and takes the ball from Cooper dejean. Cowboys then score.

He's tough too. He gets nicked up, goes out of the game and comes back in and catches a slant with the game on the the line and takes it to the 4 yard line. Cowboys score again.

He picked the Cowboys up and carried them on his shoulders.

That's what heroes do. We have a hero in Josh but he cant put his cape on every game.

Josh needs help

It was the antithesis of “everybody eats.” This was, “that guy is better than those guys.” That’s what talent and elite playmakers looks like.

And this version of Pickens is playing opposite CeeDee Lamb which we don't have. So is Pickens really going to put up same numbers here? I doubt it. Toss in he'd still be in a rotation here cuz it's our philosophy/scheme to not focus on one guy but instead find the open guy vs keep feeding one guy.

Look at Philly as an example, AJ Brown been an alpha there the last few years but this year they elected to share the wealth as it were an AJ stats aren't where they've been in years past.

I’m old enough to remember when receivers would come to Buffalo and put up career numbers with Josh Allen throwing them the ball…

Yeah the days where we had a poor rushing attack.

When I read "effort problems", "free me" malcontent posts, and consider his previously torn ACL with what is now likely 4.5 speed, I'd prefer to use that 2nd elsewhere. Bills need to draft a platoon of players to fix their roster and cap situation and Pickens doesn’t rate a 2nd to me.
