Gugny Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Screw him. Best thing he ever did was trick the Browns into thinking he was worth a :rd round pick. Pure. Trash. 1 3 1 Quote
RobbRiddick Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 It wasn't an ovation by the fans. McD was so excited his clapping reached Hulk Level and it sounded like 80k people 1 1 Quote

He was the QB of the team that ended the drought. We'll never forget that. Up 40-0, cheering him in that moment was the right move. Expand No doubt that Tyrod was a great guy who worked hard in Buffalo. So I definitely appreciate Bills fans giving him a nice ovation. But I feel that the whole drought-ender talk from Bills fans is a little exaggerated. Yes he was the QB on the 2017 and he was very efficient and smart with the football. But that team was all about running the football with Shady and playing good defense. Quote

Expand The Bills weren't about anything on offense in 2017. Beane and Dennison combined to wreck what had been a top 10 scoring offense in 2016. The Tyrod-lead 2015 and 2016 teams lead the NFL in big plays both seasons. "Explosives" as they now call them. But a lot of them were runs. Which angered many Bills fans who were desperate for 300 yard passing games. I didn't think the ovation for Tyrod was anything particularly heartfelt. Part of it was fans being pleased that they had forced Rodgers to the bench. And people were giddy about the blowout. 1 Quote

GASabresIUFan Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Would the Bills be better off with Tyrod or Mitch as the backup QB? Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Tyrod Taylor was the best damn thing we had at QB outside of a Ryan Fitzpatrick win over the Patriots* for a good long time. Like it or not, he actually set the stage for Bills fans to EXPEXT to get the first down on 3rd and 22. I like Tyrod. Quote
Mike in Horseheads Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 They were pry cheering that the bills chased Rodgers Quote
