bigduke6 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) starting to get the feeling Diggs may struggle in his post NFL life. sure he has generational wealth, but most of them do before they retire. yet you hear how it was all pissed away and they start acting up when they arent the top dogs anymore. its hard to be a celebrity and then become a nobody. i could be wrong, he could be just fine, smart with his money, whatever, but he isnt the humblest guy and those guys tend to fall the hardest. not wishing for this btw, no hate towards him, just what i see. dcinmuncie Posted July 13 Posted July 13 it appears he is now more 'celebrity' than a football player. never goes well (distractions, etc) and i'm happy because he's with a division rival 1 2 Quote

I held my tongue, but I wanted to walk over and chime in about his excitement for an old WR coming off a torn ACL who never feels his job is done until he has worn out his welcome. I figured that was no way to make friends, so I smiled and kept going. 😊 4 1 Quote

I think back to that whole Maddy Glab situation with him. Oh, absolutely and beyond not getting the ball. There's the Glab situation, the Tim Graham anecdote about his interaction with Josh, then various "I'd tell you what I know if I could but I can't" hints from a couple people here. Then Graham again: Quote “He could suck the energy out of any room,” a Bills player told me this offseason. My only point was that there doesn't appear to be any need to look beyond the on field and off-field behavior with the team. Edited July 14 by Beck Water Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Thanks to CardiB, I now know that the fat in a BBL rots down the road. 2 2 Quote

Royale with Cheese Posted July 14 Posted July 14 11 minutes ago, Beck Water said: I did not need to know this. No thank you for sharing. Yep, rotting fat. During a BBL, fat is liposuctioned from one area of the body and injected into the butt. If too much fat is packed into a single spot—more than blood vessels can support—it can die. That’s called fat necrosis, and it smells about as good as it sounds. “When there is more fat in an area than the blood supply allows, the fat will die through a smelly process,” Dr. Anderson told the Daily Mail. It’s a complication that can lead to infections, hospital stays, and in rare cases, sepsis. https://www.vice.com/en/article/bbl-smell-is-real-and-just-as-gross-as-it-sounds/ 3 2 Quote
The Red King Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Diggs is exactly what Josh needed at the time. Then, Josh outgrew him. Still think it's smart paring him with a young QB. Quote

I said years ago Diggs was a head case and that his behavioral demise in Buffalo was predictable. It played out as if scripted...incredibly, to the surprise of many here. As for Jefferson, the Vikings weren't acting in hindsight--they knew exactly what they were doing when they traded. That draft was absolutely loaded with 1st round WR talent. Beane and his scouting team are and have been the worst WR evaluators in the NFL since he got here. 2 1 Quote

Lol now he is on the Pats so that’s quite the tightrope you’re walking there. Who went one pick before Jefferson? The NFL draft is not a sure thing even if you’re a genius organization like the Eagles or even……spoiler alert…… your precious Patsies. Edit: Ruggs, Jeudy, Lamb Reagor, Jefferson, Aiyuk. I think it’s fair to say 33% chance of immediate impact. But hindsight increases that percentage to 100. Congrats. Edited 5 hours ago by 4merper4mer 1 Quote

Jefferson would have been right there for the Bills--because of the guy who was picked before Jefferson... Quote
