JerseyBills Posted April 11 Share Posted April 11 RIP Juice never saw him play live but his stats/highlights are incredible. Then he had an incredible post football career. If that incident doesn't happen, he'd be remember as 1 of the goats p.s , if ya haven't watched 30 for 30 called June 17th 1994 , it's an absolute must watch. I don't really understand the whole "hey his son might've done it!" stuff when there's no real evidence for it and even then OJ really never showed any sympathy for the losses. What plenty of people casually overlook is that Nicole had someone else’s blood under her fingernails. It wasn’t hers, Ron’s or OJ’s. People should look a little closer at OJ’s son.. his actions and mental state just before the time of the murders were absolutely chaotic. There is a lot of smoke there. He murdered the mother of his kids and deprived them of her for the rest of their lives. He murdered a young man in his prime whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was such an utter narcissist that he convinced himself that he didnt do it and that he deserved freedom and to get away with it, as if the world owed him something. He never showed any remorse and his legal team outrageously made the case about race in America, which it had nothing to do with and took away from the real victims of racial crimes. What I cannot understand is that his kids forgave him for what he obviously did. I know they were young at the time but come on! At any time in the last 30 years, he could have had a change of heart and manned up and admitted his heinous crimes but he never did. Interesting times and racial biases back then. Changing of the guard from the championship-era Bills to the terrible teams of the early 70s. Hard to believe the NFL and society have changed that much in my lifetime. Black QBs were barely being accepted. I think it was the 1973 season we were driving to a game on the Youngmann and who do we pass but OJ driving his car to the game. He smiled and waved at me and this 14-year old was ecstatic.
