All probation has that clause where you need to notify. The thing about probation is the conditions, which the probation officer sees are met are different from person to person, case to case It can be as detailed as you need to list your whereabouts at all times and better be where you say you are as they spot check you, or as easy show up once every 2 weeks for 10 mins to say hi basically and everything in between 1 Quote

They won’t beat them until they have it. Getting the #1 seed should be the goal this year. Our schedule compared to our AFC competition's schedule is set up as favorably as it's ever been. Anything that contributes to KC losing an extra game or two helps us attain that goal. 3 1 Quote

Definitely should be the goal. I feel like the ravens are going to be the 1 seed. Their defense seems setup to create a situation where the offense might only have to score 17 or 20 points to win. The 1 seed is the crown jewel but the chiefs have already shown they can win on the road in the toughest settings, Buffalo and Baltimore. if you could promise me the Bills have a healthy defense today I wouldn’t care if they are the 7 seed. I guess the flip side of that is the 1 seed would give you the week or maybe two weeks depending on week 18 to get guys healthy and ready. its all about the bills defense to me. I am not a fan of the free agents and we now have question marks with two of the draft picks we expected to play a lot and start. my early thoughts on the season are the ravens will be the 1 seed on the backs of their defense, mahomes will be the mvp on a chiefs offense that is on mission to being more explosive and the bills will be the 3 seed after a tough season where too many expectations have been put on them already. but to your point the 1 seed can fix a lot of issues in the postseason. Getting a week or two of rest before the game and only having to beat a wild card team or whoever wins the south and then the chiefs or ravens at home would be the ideal route. 1 Quote

The Bills have never won a road playoff game with McDermott as coach. I would have no confidence they could go into BAL or KC and get a playoff win. They need the #1 seed. If the play their playoff games in OP, then they have a shot to make the Super Bowl. Edited July 18 by Gregg Quote

I don’t put much stock into the bills can’t win a road playoff game thing. last years team was equipped to beat KC but the defense, same guys as the year before essentially were hurt again and they just can’t win with injuries to a defense that is just ok. playoff success is in direct correlation to the defense. Hopefully this year the defense will be healthy in the postseason season. At least this way they could go down swinging. 1 Quote

Haven’t we basically only played road playoff games vs the Chiefs? Texans in 2019 I guess was road too but that was a different Josh. I’m not sure how worried I am about going into Baltimore. McD has never lost to Baltimore in the playoffs and has basically outcoached them defensively every time. I think the pressure is on Baltimore in that situation honestly. Quote

Lost at Jax when they finally ended the playoff drought but that was with Tyrod Taylor at QB. 1 Quote

Hap, thank you. We blow by this every year as a non-factor. Look, I am probably the biggest Bills fan on here. I literally weigh 490 lbs. * That said I just don't believe we are going to the Show if we are not home all the way through. In the 60 + year history of this franchise they have made it once on the road. I am not going into the analytics of it deeply, just the reality. 14-3 might do it this year. GO BILLS! It’s not so much of a “road” thing as it is that the home team is (theoretically) the better team as well. As far as the defense goes, what do you consider healthy to mean? The AFCCG is the 19th or 20th game of the season. Nobody’s going to have all 22 of their starters healthy and available. There’s a 100% chance that you’re going to be missing multiple starters in the postseason. Quote

If a dude like this (severe injury last year, barely played, career high is 938yards) is the sole difference between beating them or not, that's on us. We NEED some crazy criminal court thing to win in the post-season versus them? The dude who went 4/4 47yds, 0 td's against us in 2024 divisional? I get he's a very good talent, but id say the same thing if they cloned and had 2012 Megatron (Moss, Julio, JRice; he's none of these guys). JFGID! Theres a million ways to offset his talent. We can get/develop someone to cover him. Double team. We can have a lights out performance versus the other 10 and force them to be 1-D. We can beat them in a shootout. Hell, we can even BountyGate him, and it'd be less embarrassing LOL Acting like the single only scenario we can beat the Chiefs/win a SB, is to rely on criminal/civil courts to remove him? Weak. The single most pathetic viewpoint. Has there ever been a single SB winner who didn't have to find a way to neutralize a top-10 WR in one or multiple post season games? What are we even talking about here?!?! I sure as hell hope theres not a single/player or coach that holds that viewpoint. 1 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted August 14 Posted August 14 On one hand it's extremely annoying that the NFL is dragging its feet which means he gets to play in KC's tough opening stretch. On the other hand we play them in week 9... Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll be suspended for our matchup. Quote
