In the Bills stadium facebook group, some people confirmed that their rep told them that there are some obstructed view seats. Also, some first row seats will have a bar at eye level if you are a shorter person. All these are from seated view: Except this one with the post. Anyone behind it, or to either side of it, is at a disadvantage. Edited September 21 by Einstein 1 Quote

How does a stadium get designed with views like this? Just another reason to watch from home…zero obstructed views. Edited September 21 by LabattBlue 2 Quote

WotAGuy Posted September 21 Posted September 21 It’s an architectural homage to the Rockpile, which had beautiful I-beams every section under the roof. 1 2 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Weren't fans told by Pegula there were no bad seats? Quote

SoCal Deek Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I believe the columns some of you are referring to are at the top of the exit stair aisles, in the corners/end zones. I saw them on my tour although without seats installed the aisle locations aren’t as easy to understand as you might think. I don’t believe they obstruct your view of the field. Quote
May Day 10 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 To truly be an "obstructed seat" certain criteria has to be met. Those stairs-seats would not meet that. However, that will be a huge problem if they allow people to go up and down the stairs at any time and loiter on the stairs for any period. I had Sabres seats the past few seasons where there was stairs and a landing. It is obnoxious people who just get up during action, stand there, have no clue where they are going, where their seats are, decide to take a bite of their food, stopping, mid stair climb, etc. If the stairs are relatively clear when the game is live, then they shouldnt be too much of a problem. 1 Quote

I like to be at center field, and my wife prefers the aisle so we went that direction. If I am behind a giant pillar, I am going to be so pissed. Edited September 22 by Mango 1 Quote

If this view of the endzone to 30 yard line is cool with you, then you’re a perfect fan for these seats. Personally, I would not be okay with that - and it has nothing to do with people loitering. 1) Just normal walking up and down the stairs by folks is going to be annoying when it’s directly in your view throughout a full game. 2) Even when people are not on the stairs at all (totally empty), there is metal bars obstructing the view from the 30 yard line to the endzone. It is indeed inside the new stadium. The column is at the top of an exit aisle in the corner of the upper deck. There aren’t any seats behind the column. 2 Quote

This is a stadium/crowd management issue as much as a design problem. So long as the aisle ushers are asked to control the times when fans are allowed to come up the stairs (for example NOT after the play has started) the ‘obstruction’ should be minimized. BTW… the ushers try to do that now at the existing stadium. Edited September 23 by SoCal Deek 2 Quote

So the virtual reality views of the stadium which are being used to sell PSL’s and season tickets would not be accurate? 1 Quote
