Everyone is taking about firing McDermott, Dorsey and the special teams coach but what about the strength and conditioning coaches? These injuries are killing the Bills. It's not like all are unpredictable. Is it time for a new approach to the new longer schedule of the NFL?

This!!! Not talked about enough!

I would.  Lots of the injuries are the muscle/tendon type that you can, to some extent, prevent with proper warmups, stretching, and recovery.

no you can only build up a small ball defense so much  We have smaller players doing the bulk of the tackling  Frankly I'm surprised we haven't had more injuries  Linebackers are lightweights and safeties and corners expected to tackle a ton in this scheme

Eh, it’s only one more game. Most teams have a mini-bye now with all the Thursday night games. Isn’t as big of an issue as you would believe. Especially with all the advancements in sports medicine and rehab.

Yes this franchise really needs to clean house from top to bottom entering a crucial offseason that may very well dictate whether or not a 'second window' opens in the next few years.

does anyone not realize football is a super violent game played by men who are getting bigger, stronger, and faster every freaking year?

anyone not notice the injury list getting longer around the ENTIRE NFL every single week? the NFL is a war of attrition. Moreover, the Bills organization has been lauded for their facilities and staff.

I've wondered about this a lot, not just in recent years but in general.

McD's first few seasons, we had relatively little in the way of season-ending injuries -- particularly to key players.

I thought he must have brought in some S&C guru's that helped to provide that, but now the last couple years our injury report is miles long and key players are dropping like flies.

Are we maybe investing too heavily in aging players? Paying guys lots of money after age 30 and putting them in key roles might be a factor here, at least as far as nagging injuries are concerned.
