He had one occasional pro bowler in Donald driver who he made much better... he was not an All-Pro type like we even had with diggs... And his number two three and four were much worse than what we have... he had Donald driver, three bum WR and not a great tight end The bills still do have shakir, and Palmer and Kincaid ... Those three guys are better than any weapon favre had in 05 outside driver Of course he throws a lot of pics he's a gunslinger with no weapons Josh led the league in interceptions 2 years ago also... Gunslinger's throw interceptions.. we rain Josh in , with a ball control offense Remember Josh idolizes Brett favre... He was a very very good quarterback first ballot Hall of famer Aaron Rodgers didn't throw interceptions has the best touchdown to interception ratio of all time and still didn't win multiple Super bowls with their franchise Depends on what part of the season. They had a pro bowl TE, probowl receiver, and a probowl rb that all ended up on IR that season. You can downplay Driver’s ability if you’d like, but four pro bowls (when it mattered) and over 10,000 career receiving yards leads me to believe that guy could ball. Honestly, Driver’s pretty comparable to Diggs…. Reliable route running z-receiver with quick feet that can work his way open regardless of coverage. Not to mention that he could rely on his defense that had a pair of probowl DEs and a pair of probowl DBs. Quote

Love the negative narratives though....most teams use it as extra fuel I disagree. Acho has been plenty nice about the Bills. They are speaking the truth. Have to accept it. The Bills offense is screwed with Joe Brady as OC and the receiving unit. 1 1 Quote

Other problem is when you have a top 5 QB who is no longer on a rookie contract, you are constrained by the cap as far as what you can pay WR's OL or invest in the Defense. Also noticed that Mahomes Cap hit for 2026 right now is $78 Million - Up $50 Million from his 2025 number. Imagine there will be some capology magic in the off-season there. Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM (edited) I can't believe he said that. It honestly made me upset. Like our city should lower it's expectations and doesn't deserve a world championship I grew up in cheektowaga and our family has been going to Bills games since 1993 every year Edited yesterday at 04:08 AM by Kelly to Allen 2 Quote

Neo Posted yesterday at 06:21 AM Posted yesterday at 06:21 AM (edited) It’s a legitimate conversation. Calling anyone an idiot for having the conversation isn’t a good look. He snarled and insulted his clientele. There’s some idiocy in play, but it doesn’t reside in the fan base. The worst part is he said it’s Bills fans, specifically, who have no right to complain or have expectations. Edited 23 hours ago by Neo 1 1 Quote

And that team was full of blue chip talent and hall of famers For whatever reason the local media has always resented the team. Part of it is ppl not even from here or ppl not being real fans of the football team and it's legacy. Edited 21 hours ago by Kelly to Allen 1 Quote
poo Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Totally agree with Sal.Its a good take. Fans these days are spoiled. Calling in to complain about how the team wins ugly. Make me puke. We're 9-4 and headed to playoffs for the 7th season in a row. I was there for 17 years drought. I remember being excited to have a chance at 6-7 this late in the year. it was ten short years ago. these mcdermott haters can't wait to go back to being pats and steelers fans. 2 1 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I don't know. I thought it was "we don't wanna waste Josh Allen's greatness. We don't want to waste Josh Allen's years. We don't want to waste OUR years, too." type deal. Quote

A win is a win and I’ll take it anyway. The overall sentiment I was totally on board with, then within last year my feelings started to change. We have an all time generational QB in Josh Allen. The fact we haven’t even been to a superbowl with him despite him being Superman and putting up insane numbers is getting frustrating. I watched every game through drought years so I do appreciate this team but I don’t think it’s spoiled by wanting just one SB 1 Quote

The bills have the worst defense in NFL history over its past five elimination games under 1 hc ( 33.2 ppg allowed) They have forced 8 punts in those 5 games. Baltimore for example forced 7 punts in one AFC championship... This is under the context of a " defensive hc" Simultaneously, Allen at age 28 already has matched Bradshaw and Elway's entire playoff career in playoff tds, surpassed Kelly in playoff PASSING tds. Allen has the lowest turnover percentage and int percentage in NFL playoff history and the best td to int ratio in NFL playoff history In the playoffs vs KC, Allen has 9 tds and 1 int , 11 total tds and 1 turnover with a passer rating of 100... With just avg playoff defense we already would've been to a couple Superbowls It's embarrassing and completely ridiculous that anyone in any fanbase should accept this More importantly, the bills ascending has everything to do with an all time great QB, and not the HC. Who's defense in 2020 was 16th in pts, or 11th in pts in 2024, and currently 14th in points. The bills defense is 21st in dvoa this year, and has been in general regression over the past few years. Again with a defensive hc.... Just against Cincinnati, the bills forced 2 turnovers, Cincinnati still scored 34 pts, including a 50 second drive at the end of the game that is expected at this point with McDermott and his defense. 10/12 on 3rd down.... If you take away the Jets game this year where the Jets were were 0- 11 on 3rd down, the bills defense ranks near the bottom in the entire NFL on 3rd down.... All of this is pointing to a very basic problem The bills have a 1st ballot Hof QBs, who's putting up all time production in the playoffs that is being wasted by a defensive hc and defense that is the worst in NFL playoff history You and ppl like sal are then taking this data and saying we should be overwhelmed with gratitude for a coach that's not even as good as dick jaroun I personally was completely over all of this with McDermott after the AFC championship where mahomes had the most efficient game of his season lol I don't even need to bring up 13 seconds even though it's clouds the entire ridiculous nature of this hc and everything he symbolizes in this era with Allen.... When you have a QB like this, you should be going to multiple super bowls.... We are at the point where if Allen has a meh to bad game, there is zero hope we can win either this week or in the playoffs. And this very coach is now gaslighting the fanbase that the defense is not the problem, the actual problem is we need to play offense like Iowa, and purposely shorten the game to achieve our goals I'm completely over it... I trust our qb, and it gives me hope. I have zero faith in McDermott and his defense. Full stop Not because of an agenda, not because it's personal, not because I lack gratitude..... it's because of facts Now we have to deal with a real qb and hc in the division too. The previous 5 years we already should've cashed in on at least 1 super bowl. Probably 2. This AFC bracket, will most likely be without, mahomes, burrow & Lamar. I am expecting this hc to be a real defensive hc and play avg defense. I'm not asking the defense to be the 75 Steelers, I'm asking for avg playoff defense....With this QB we should be the AFC representative in the super bowl. I'm tired of the excuses for the hc. Kelly to Allen Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago (edited) It's so wild to me that matt verderame and nick wright ( KC guys obviously) are fully expecting that the bills will be in the Superbowl because of Allen & because there's no Lamar, mahomes and burrow in the tournament Yet we all know the excuses will be ready if they don't get there.
