But it was just nice to be able to stand in concourse and see the field still. And then the concessions were on like an outer ring. The concessions are indeed on an outward ring and face back towards the seating bowl. But, if you see my photo of the inside of the perforated panels you’ll see that the concourses are open air….but shielded from the wind. 1 Quote

The word usage didn’t specify that. 👍 “Denver” in the colloquial usage refers to the franchise / team. “Denver, who has an owner with a net worth 5x of the next richest NFL owner, contributes nothing.” It just implied “Broncos” to me. The city of Denver doesn’t have an owner. => ‘Broncos contribute nothing.’ I did editing. It was just an unclear sentence to me. Edited September 11 by UConn James Quote

No it said that “Denver,” who has the NFL’s richest owner is contributing nothing. I could have included the county or Colorado I suppose but no confusion here. Every deal, except Denver, is receiving significant public participation. Quote
SoCal Deek Posted September 11 Posted September 11 What to be watching for next is the laying of the grass playfield. That’s supposed to be installed in the next couple of weeks. 5 1 Quote

First, you can see that none of the perforated panels are visible from inside the seating bowl. The little slit at the top will be infilled by the SOLID corrugated panels. Second, it’s cool to see that you’ll be able to see the field while in the concourse. Very well done! You're in 124. That's my section. Gotta ask, how many rows are covered? When I bought mine the virtual view appeared like I was under the balcony. 2nd row from the concourse. Edited September 12 by PromoTheRobot Quote

(Kidding) Honest answer: I have no idea. But I will tell you that the roof is REALLY high. Unless the rain is drifting/blowing in your direction it’s hard to believe you won’t be under cover. Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted September 12 Posted September 12 I still can’t believe the Bills will be playing home games in a new stadium next season. 5 Quote

I'm more concerned with the balcony being above me because I want some of that heat from the concourse raising the temp at my seats. A low balcony makes that more likely. Quote

They’re just an exterior architectural treatment being used to shield the unconditioned concourse areas from the prevailing winds. Virtually NONE of these panels are even visible from inside the stadium. And, if you look closely at my photo you’ll see that uppermost portion of the outer panels, just under the roof canopy, are actually solid corrugated panels, with no perforations. seems this maybe colder than the current stadium. Don't know how the heaters are going to be used and where. Quote

I’m glad you used that term, because I don’t think the casual fan understands just how much of a pleasure it’s going to be to attend games in this place. It’s going to be comfortable, spacious yet intimate, and LOUD. 2 2 Quote

RobbRiddick Posted September 25 Posted September 25 It's looking fantastic. It only seems like a few months ago when I was watching the ground breaking happening. Also, great thumbnail of Fitz in the stadium 2 1 1 Quote
Just Jack Posted September 25 Posted September 25 A thought just popped in my head but not worthy of a new thread. With the new stadium, we should be guaranteed at least 3 home night games next season. Thursday, Sunday and Monday Night Football. Maybe even a Saturday Night towards the end of the season. I could also see the Thanksgiving night game being played at home. Quote

It would be really unfortunate if they started the broadcast with the crew complimenting the new stadium and all the power goes out. On second thought, I really don't care for all of the night commentators (except for Mike Tirico) so, maybe doesn't matter. Quote

Many years ago I designed a large cinema right outside Disneyland. We opened it for Batman with Heath Ledger as the joker. The fire alarm went off very near the end of the film causing the building to be evacuated….and so to this day I have no idea how that movie ends. 😂 1 Quote
