If Biden were making the mistakes Trump keeps making, he would have already been impeached.

 

If Biden were making statements like abandon the Constitution, like Trump has, the Democrats would stop him.

In Politico, Jonathan Martin has authored a long feature titled “Here’s How Biden Can Turn It Around,” which, before it gets into the nitty-gritty of our president’s present political predicament, contains this remarkable passage:

One look at the soon-to-be 81-year-old president’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping tells you why. A stooped handshake, blank stares at the conference table, his stammering press conference … Biden is slower, more feeble and mentally not all there. Media apologists try desperately to convince us otherwise, but we all have eyes, ears and a TV.

 

So his team makes sure we don’t see. Biden keeps banker’s hours, with almost no interaction with the press that isn’t stage-managed and telepromptered.
 

Just keep this “Weekend at Bernie’s” presidency going until the election, at all costs.

 

America deserves better.

 

At the summit, Xi said the world was big enough for both China and the United States, but just because two superpowers aren’t at war doesn’t mean they don’t clash. We are in competition with China for resources, for influence, for economic security and ideological freedoms. The Chinese have a plan. Do we? Biden doesn’t even know how to get off a stage.

President Biden turns 81 tomorrow. We wish him a happy birthday in the privacy with which he is bound to celebrate it. He doesn’t want to draw attention to his achievement in longevity, though I can’t think of another positive achievement he can claim.

 

Eighty-one might not be too old to be president, but Biden gives evidence in every public appearance that it is, at least in his case.

 

His handlers sought to conceal his decline by keeping him in the basement during the 2020 presidential campaign. In office, his handlers have sought to conceal his decline by a variety of stratagems. Lest he get lost in a fog during public appearances, for example, his handlers provide him with cards specifying step-by-step instructions in capital letters. And yet he still gets lost in a fog during public appearances. The cards can only do so much.

 

Biden is surrounded by a bodyguard of liars on staff and in the mainstream media, yet everyone sees that he is — to put it mildly — senescent. His senescence is so far advanced that it can’t be concealed. I seriously doubt that he could pass an unchallenging Medicare cognitive assessment asking him to draw a clock at 8:50 or repeat a string of numbers.

 

Biden is our first octogenarian president. There is a reason for that. Some say the rent is too damn high. I say the man is too damn old. At the recently concluded APEC conference in San Francisco, he seemed dazed and confused. The New York Post reported on Biden’s lost in the space appearance in this story by Melissa Koenig.

 

Biden has aged poorly. Next to him, the 83-year-old Nancy Pelosi exudes mental acuity. Biden looks like he is out of it much of the time. However, both Biden and Pelosi can testify to the wonders of plastic surgery and dermatological treatments. Someone should count the ways.

 

Contemplating the prospect of Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom or any of the other Democratic wannabes, one can’t help but conclude that the trouble with Biden is not his age, or not only his age, but rather the malignant idiocy of the policies he has introduced and promoted since his first day in office.

An op-ed in the Wall Street Journal tells the tale of the 2024 presidential election. Joe Biden is too old and feeble to be re-elected, so why is he running?

By running for re-election, he is showing himself to be “profoundly selfish.”

 

It’s something many of us have written about as the presidential primary cycle continues. Joe Biden is a compromised candidate in many ways. He is old, physically and mentally feeble, and he is corrupt. The Biden crime family investigations are producing subpoenas of family members who have allegedly been cashing in on their access to Joe Biden. It’s hard for Joe Biden to present himself as morally superior to Donald Trump if Trump is the Republican candidate, as House Republicans move forward with hearings and impeachment.

 

Joe Biden turns 81 on Monday. There is absolutely nothing that he or his campaign can do to change that. Last year his family and staff were able to distract from this milestone birthday because his granddaughter Naomi’s wedding was held on the South Lawn. She allowed her White House wedding to be planned to take some of the spotlight off of her grandfather’s 80th birthday. The timing “was not a coincidence,” as two sources told CNN.

 

This year look for the same type of tamping down of attention placed on The Big Guy’s birthday. He’ll probably have a family celebration with cake and the usual narrative of what a great family man Biden is at the White House. It doesn’t look like Jill will be holding a celeb-heavy shindig to show how cool she is.
