Mahomes certainly make the throw and probably Allen too. with the game on the line most NFL QB's would make that throw. we saw fitz make those throws often - sometiems making it sometimes not. that's pass was one you must make and take to win a game. lamar didn't see it, or worse - didn't choose it. I'd think Allen makes the throw, but regardless does not go down like Lamar did. Trying to not be too negative about Lamar, but there were a number of mistakes on third and fourth down. I just went and watched the video. That guy doesn't come that open until the safety (Poyer I think but I can't see the number) comes off of him to come up top play Lamar as a runner. By that point he wasn't looking downfield anymore. Mahomes might have flipped it to him, but that's not Lamar's game. He decided to run, but the space he thought he saw quickly closed, and he made the decision "I am not going to get to the end zone" at which point he "went down" slightly awkwardly head first, rather than take the brunt of the tackle/hit. I watched it a # of times and he went down (or was going to be tackled regardless. He missed seeing an open receiver right in front of him. This is a typical Lamar excuse.
