Bills/Chiefs Preliminary Ratings

If Chiefs win it all, I'll say there's a low chance the Bills return for the Thursday opener. They'll want to set the stage for an early to mid season showdown, likely on NBC primetime but possibly MNF since they haven't gotten a Chiefs-Bills game in recent years.

Chiefs vs Rams or Chiefs vs Chargers seem more likely.

For those that are worried the league tilts towards the money makers, this is good news.

Highest Division Round Game in 5 years and even edged out the NFL's top draw in the Cowboys, for their WC Game against SF.

They still believe that anyone cares about the Cowboys anymore. Silly.

Guaranteed: Chiefs/Bills Thursday night season opener if KC wins it all.

Be ready for a ton of prime time games next year.

No way.  They’re putting bills chiefs on Sunday night in sweeps no matter what.  they don’t need to waste this game in the opener.

THE NFL ON CBS presentation of Kansas City’s win over Buffalo on Sunday, Jan. 23 (6:41-10:02 PM, ET) is the most-watched Divisional Playoff game on any network in five years (Green Bay-Dallas, 1/15/17, 48.522), averaging 42.736 million viewers and up +18% versus last year’s comparable game window (Tampa Bay-New Orleans, 1/17/21, 36.300).

The audience for Bills-Chiefs peaked with 51.697 million viewers, the second consecutive week THE NFL ON CBS topped the 50-million viewer mark (50.229 million viewers for 49ers-Cowboys).

Im thinking itll be the Rams if its over the Rams.

They will put he Bills/Chiefs game in their pocket for a SNF game later

I also think its very realistic they play the Lions on Thanksgiving.

Since the opener is always hosted by the SB winner Could be rams/bills or Bengals/Bills but I agree chiefs/bills will be SNF in the primiest of prime sweeps

That’s possible.  The Lions are going to draw eyeballs for that game no matter what, though.  Home game on Thanksgiving against a marquee opponent (say, the Patriots??) might draw big numbers.  We’re one of the big dogs now, both on the field and on the television screen.  Anything is possible.
