Im all for green/renewable energy, but we’re not there yet. Keep investing in the future, while securing our country in the present. We can sanction Russia all we want, but until the Western world stops giving him billions of dollars per day for oil, he will just wait it out. On top of that, he is also negotiating larger oil deals with China, India and Pakistan. We can’t sanction his oil, because we need it. Biden can’t risk $6/gallon gas because it’s political suicide, so we’ll talk tough about Russia, while letting them pollute the environment with their oil production as we help fund his war. I also don't think the plan is to install stooges in Ukraine. Putin has flexed what he needed to. Now it's a matter of annexing a section of land that isn't "Russian" in the ethnic sense as a buffer between Russia and NATO. As far as the economic thing goes...again I don't think anyone can reasonably tell us what it all means long term.
