Timing depends on vaccination status

10 days if not vaccinated as long as not showing symptoms

2 Neg tests if vaccinated.

Not quite correct....a vaccinated player can return sooner IF they are symptom-free for 48 hrs and test negative twice 24 hrs apart, OR after 48 hrs of no symptoms and 10 days (like an unvaccinated player).

IIRC I read Allen Sills (NFL Chief Medical Officer) saying overall, vaccinated players are returning sooner than unvaccinated players, but only 20% of the return sooner than 10 days.

Has anyone considered that he could be really sick from covid and not returning anytime soon? Or even he does return goes the way of Dawkins the rest of the season and sucks?

Just amazes me that everyone thinks Star is some sort of savior when he didn't play a single down for this team last year.

they sucked against run last year and were better this year when Star played. And sucked when Star is out this year. Not sure why people can't see this.

Even if he passes all these tests, he’s probably in crap condition.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes a month.

I hope Brown will be back much sooner.

Why is that? Not 100% sure, but I thought he didn't really have any symptoms?

Where did you hear he didn't have any symptoms?  What I heard was Horrible Harry saying it wasn't as bad as it could have been - not quite the same thing

Oh, maybe I got mixed up then. Like I said, wasn't sure. In any event if he is in "crap condition" as other poster stated, then I doubt he would play anyway..

Star showed up in pretty good shape after a year off, when many speculated he would "let himself go" and either show up too skinny or too fat.

I expect he will have continued to work out as his medical condition allowed, but there are too many unknowns to even speculate if he'll come back ready to play or in need of a week or two to work back into shape.

Agree. Hope he's ready soon though because he's definitely needed.

Given that Steve Tasker claimed that Star Lotulelei had a high-risk condition and that is also why he chose not to get the vaccine (unusual statement, medically questionable, but OK)... and that Harrison Phillips said it "is not as bad as it could have been"... that's all we have to go on. Whether he is currently symptomatic or not, "not as bad as it could have been" implies he's probably not in the hospital like Dion Dawkins was (if Harrison Phillips has accurate info). Other than that, he'll be back when he is able to play football and the team is not projecting when that will be, kind of like if he had a concussion.

He has yet to be activated and likely won’t be with only 1 day of practice.  We are maybe looking at a return against NE

I’m sure COVID will do wonders for his “medical condition.”  Much less harmful than a vaccine millions that have been safe for millions of Americans

I really hope for his sake that he has an asymptomatic case that was caught on test and isn't suffering any of the serious consequences.
