I wonder if he will have a police force to stop CRT too.

GOP voters want fascism, DeSantis is stepping up

Are you intentionally linking to articles that are poorly written and make no reference to your "concern", or do not know what fascism is?

Omg.

The Hill totally burying the lede here - actually TWO ledes.

Biden leading Trump, DeSantis by similar margins in new poll:

President Biden is leading former President Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in two hypothetical, head-to-head match-ups for the 2024 presidential election, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Marquette Law School, found that 43 percent of adults nationwide would support Biden if the 2024 presidential election were held today, while 33 percent would vote for Trump in a one-on-one match-up.

Sixteen percent said they would choose a different candidate, while 6 percent said they would not vote.

In a hypothetical race against DeSantis, however, Biden polls slightly worse: 41 percent of adults nationwide said they would throw their support behind Biden, while 33 percent would support DeSantis.

Only 29 percent of those polled said they want to see Trump run for president again in 2024, while 71 percent said they did not want to see him seek a second term.

ONE YEAR into his term Xiden leads (lololol) a governor still unknown to most voters by just 8 points.

Xiden barely gets over 40% of the vote in a hypothetical matchup - against a guy with ZERO serious presence on the national stage outside of conservative circles and NY Times hit jobs.

And here is the kicker.  The poll is of ADULTS!   Which means if its 41-33 it is highly likely if the election were DeSantis v Xiden today, DeSantis would win.

The ACTUAL HEADLINE should be "Biden already in deep ***t."

Double mask up y-all!!

Keep those protocols rolling!

LOL!  Biden wouldn't beat Mike Pence at this point.

But again, there's no chance he runs in 2024.  None.  So it's a moot poll.  And I'm still open for bets on that one.

Ron DeSantis Shows the Way After Political Hacks Try to Tie Him to Neo-Nazis

For the left, the playbook never changes, and that’s especially true in this current era of squealing “racism” and “white supremacy” in response to everything.

During Donald Trump’s presidency, a favorite game among Democrats and their media allies was to constantly ask the former president to condemn white supremacy. It didn’t matter if he did so nine times. If he didn’t do it the tenth time they asked, that meant he was on the side of the neo-nazis.

Some on the right thought those attacks were unique to Trump and that the left wouldn’t have the capacity to smear other Republicans in such a fashion, but the rest of us knew how naive that was. The next man up was always going to get the same treatment, and that next man up is Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida.

On Sunday, a video of what appears to be around eight neo-nazis in the Orlando area appeared online. In response, Democrats immediately started demanding that DeSantis condemn them as if he had something to do with the demonstration.

For context, Florida is a state of over 21 million people. The idea that the governor of that state needs to schedule a condemnation every single time a few morons appear is nonsensical. That’s certainly not a standard that is applied to Democrats when it comes to Antifa violence (even though there is actually a political connection there), but the goal here isn’t to be intellectually consistent. Rather, it’s to paint Republicans as somehow personally responsible for every instance of prejudice that emerges, no matter how small.

There’s also an ongoing effort on the left to exaggerate the influence and effect of white supremacists, not because Democrats have genuine concerns, but because they find it to be politically useful. You see it in the Biden administration’s insistence that white supremacy is the biggest domestic threat in the country. You saw it in the constant badgering of Donald Trump to condemn white supremacy despite him already doing so in the past.

The point is not to say that white supremacy 1) doesn’t exist and 2) doesn’t sometimes lead to violence. Neo-nazis are real and they are the scum of the earth. But facts and context still matter, and the ongoing obsession with insisting they are the preeminent threat in America is almost wholly motivated by politics. Further, the idea that Republican politicians must rush to “condemn” every neo-nazi who shows up in public is ludicrous and obviously a partisan ploy.

So what’s the best way to handle these kinds of smears? DeSantis showed he was alert enough to demonstrate it when he was asked about the supposed controversy on Monday.

Democrats count on Republicans not fighting back. They expect the knee to be bent, a condemnation to be made using the language they demand, and for there to be no return fire. Playing that game is a losing proposition, though. DeSantis’ response, calling out the left’s anti-Semitism while at the same time forcefully describing the attacks on him for what they are is how it should be done.

In the end, white supremacy is not an outgrowth of the Republican Party. In fact, historically, it’s an outgrowth of the Democrat Party. No GOP politician should accept the left’s false premise on the subject. DeSantis gets it and knows how to fight back. I only wish more Republicans did.

With the news coming out about Trump

and tearing up documents he shouldn’t, it could be a great time to revisit the Trump-DeSantis ticket.

The main is if they are a ticket, the Dems automatically won Florida under the constitution.

In order for the Dems not to win, Trump would need to pay NY taxes as a resident or DeSantis would need to leave Florida and then no be governor if they lose (looking back at the last election the Dems ran the Cryptkeeper and kicked Trumps ass so it’s a great possibility)

So, if an org so inept they didn’t know don’t tear up documents, would they even think of this? The Trump team has shown before they don’t care about the constitution but if it’s in a national election can they ignore it?

Do you mean a fair and legal election? Or the farce election of 2020?

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who apparently longs to inherit the mantle of MAGA leader, has paid attention. In his state, images of a Nazi flag-waving group shouting antisemitic slurs in Orlando flooded news coverage over the weekend. The governor’s press secretary tweeted (and soon deleted) a bizarre suggestion: “Do we even know they’re Nazis?”

A small group of idiots do dumb thing and you blame the governor? It was literally about 10 people being stupid but not touching anyone or destroying anything, so they have the right to be stupid.

The Anti-Defamation League condemned him for not condemning this group of scum. He acted like it was no big deal a hate group was holding a rally. If he can't condemn a hate group, well...
