Woke Fail: Disney Begins Layoffs, Hiring Freeze, and Limiting Employee Travel as Stock Crashes

As Breitbart News reported, Disney shares plummeted this week after the company reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings that fell short of expectations, putting the company’s future profitability into question. Disney revealed that it lost a stunning $1.5 billion on its streaming entertainment services as it seeks to build out Disney+ and Hulu in an effort to compete with Netflix and other competitors.

But at least those soon to be ad tiered subscriptions are up!

Nolte: Disney Stocks Tank After 'Avatar 2' Underperforms

“Disney shares … sank nearly 5% to their lowest level since March 2020 on Monday, after [Avatar: Way of the Water] and one of the priciest movies in Hollywood history fell short of the hype in its opening weekend,” reports Market Watch.

According to this stock tracker, that March of 2020 bottom was short-lived just before the stock jumped to nearly $200 per share.

Outside of that temporary dive, Disney’s stock closing at $85.78 per share on Monday is the lowest number in nearly a decade, since May of 2014.

In January of 2021, a mere two years ago, Disney’s stock was riding high at about $185 per share. Then the Disney pigs targeted children with their sick grooming techniques, even in  “children’s” movies, and it all went sideways.

Outside of targeting children with sex, Disney did the dumbest thing any brand can do: undermined its own brand as a safe place for little kids. Disney is no longer a company any decent person would leave a child alone with.

Oh…..there’s more:

Nolte: Report Says Woke 'Disney Faces Dismal Box Office Future'

The sicko child groomers at Walt Disney face a “dismal box office future,” says one Wall Street reporter writing at the Street.

In 2019, the year before the pandemic, Disney brought in an incredible $11 billion in box office revenue. This year, the first year after the pandemic, Disney brought in just $4 billion.

Naturally, this so-called reporter blames the pandemic, even though the boffo success of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Top Gun: Maverick proves that a lie. Those two titles prove the China Flu will not scare anyone, including older people, away from theaters. If you make a movie people want to see, people will come and see it.

Disney’s problem is not the pandemic.

Disney’s problem is that Disney’s content sucks.

Disney’s problem is that parents no longer trust a company that sneaks around behind their backs, sexualizing small children with transsexual propaganda, homosexuality, and drag queens.

Disney’s problem is that it has gone woke, which has killed the Star Wars, Toy Story, and Piratesfilm franchises (Pirates because the fascists at Disney condemned the now-exonerated Johnny Depp without a trial).

The days when the whole world loved and trusted Disney are over. This is what it used to be like before Disney embraced child grooming:

The company essentially had seven or eight billion-dollar box office films each year. The makeup might vary a little, but the Mouse House could release three Marvel movies, two Pixar films, one live-action remake of a classic animation film, and a Star Wars movie.

Add in a wild card, like a movie based on a Disney World ride (“Jungle Cruise” or “Pirates of the Caribbean” are good examples) and you had a predictable formula.

Only now, those three Marvel movies will be minus any real stars, and instead of inspiring us, they will talk down to us about social issues.

Additionally, there will be condescending diversity box-checking, including homosexuality, which makes most people uncomfortable, even if they don’t want to admit it.

There you go ladies and gentleman - anyone else surprised Big Ditz gets his “info” from Breitbart?

If Breitbart told you to jump over Niagara Falls - you would lead the way.

DeSantis Is Again the Desperately Needed Adult in the Room.

“There is a lot to unpack in this story, most of it creepy. The important detail is that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his office became aware of the freak show and now the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is looking into it, per a statement from DeSantis’s press secretary

Ben Shapiro greets new Vanity Fair piece on ‘terrifying’ DeSantis presidency with respect it deserves

In her Vanity Fair piece, Bess Levin lays out her case to be terrified of Ron DeSantis, point by point:

He thinks it’s okay to treat human beings like chattel (this is in reference to him flying illegal immigrants to liberal sanctuary cities, which is apparently a far greater offense than encouraging illegal immigration — which is known to lend itself to things like human trafficking — in the first place.)

He’s dangerously anti-science (this is in reference, of course, to DeSantis’ policies with regard to COVID.)

He wants to make it harder for people to vote and had Floridians arrested as part of another one of his political stunts (“voter suppression,” obviously.)

He’s anti-free speech, particularly the kind of free speech that says the United States hasn’t always been great for non-white people (he’s against Critical Race Theory education.)

He’s waging a war on trans people (he doesn’t think biological males should be allowed to compete in women’s sports and is against “gender-affirming care” for minors.)

Don’t Say Gay” (he doesn’t think that sexuality should be part of the educational curriculum for young kids and believes that parents deserve to know what their children are learning in school — the word “gay” does not appear anywhere in the legislation.)

He’s a massive bully (he refused to be bullied by Disney World and wanted Special Olympics athletes to be able to participate without getting the COVID vaccine.)

He’s antiabortion (that one doesn’t really need an explanation.)

He supported Donald Trump until it was no longer politically expedient to do so (he supported policies that he agreed with and criticized policies he disagreed with.)

He saw “no need” for the Respect for Marriage Act (gay marriage was already legal and support for gay marriage among Republicans has only increased.)

He’s made it harder for protesters to speak out about injustice and easier for anti-justice people to hit protesters with their cars (he’s against rioting and vandalism.)

He has no interest in preventing gun violence (he’s a Second Amendment advocate.)

According to people who know him, he’s an awful person and has been for many years (when all else fails, claim he’s a bad person and nobody likes him.)

Wow. Such comprehensive. Much guide.

Needless to say, even Stevie Wonder could see a piece like this coming. Everyone could see a piece like this coming. And that means Ben Shapiro saw it coming, too:

Ron DeSantis was inaugurated today for his second term as Florida’s governor.

No one has described DeSantis as a great orator, but he was highly effective today. This is because of his content, not his style: his record as Governor of Florida is tremendous. Today DeSantis did a good job of hitting some of the highlights. But he is no technocrat. Today’s speech was heartfelt and at times impassioned. DeSantis repeatedly threw down the gauntlet, contrasting the Free State of Florida with the sclerotic liberalism that prevails in Washington and in some other, less successful states.

And DeSantis doesn’t shy away from the controversial issues. On the contrary: I think his biggest ovation came when he said, “We will defend our children against those who seek to rob them of their innocence.” Florida is, as he says proudly, “where woke goes to die.”

While DeSantis is not noted as an orator, he delivered today’s speech strongly and smoothly. He was not just reading it off the teleprompter, but knew the speech and has mastered its themes. If I were a Democrat, I would be frightened by the contrast between DeSantis’s strength and competence and Joe Biden’s senescence.

Imposing political control on schools???

Turn the state into a political weapon????

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Tell us, how did he use the power of his office to suppress and silence free speech?  Did he call Jack Dorsey and get opposition shadow banned or suspended from Twitter?

Did President DeSantis force your 3 year old to wear masks in all public places until you complied with the State and got 8 vaccinations?

Did he fire you if you didn’t?

Did he hold a National press conference and tell Floridians “his patience has run out” due to their lack of getting a Covid vaccine that CCP/DNC forced on the world - “19 year old died suddenly.”

You lunatics can complain all you want that policy may be a wrong course of action (you stopped doing that when you realized all your policies are the wrong course of action).

Please don’t insult our intelligence by claiming you suddenly fear state power (a false claim here anyway) - you just fear losing power.
