HMMM: BECERRA FIRST CABINET SECRETARY UNDER THE BUS?

If the latter was the real concern, then the White House would fire Rochelle Walensky and push Anthony Fauci into retirement. Becerra is apparently more expendable, although it’s not clear why. Becerra doesn’t have any significant background in health care, but that was the case when Biden picked him for this job, too.

That fact would make a Becerra dismissal for scapegoating a bit … complicated. Biden insisted on putting Becerra into that slot mainly to conduct lawfare against the pro-life movement through ObamaCare edicts, a move that generated plenty of criticism at the time. In the middle of a pandemic, people expected a true public-health expert to get chosen to run the nation’s COVID-19 response, not a former attorney general with a radical resumé. Becerra barely survived his confirmation vote at the time, and has done nothing to distinguish himself since. As early as last May, rumors began swirling about Becerra’s standing in the Biden administration.

However, Biden made the choice to appoint an unqualified political hack to run Health and Human Services. Dumping him now would be tantamount to a double confession: first that the pandemic response s been bungled, and second that Biden should never have appointed Becerra in the first place. Neither of those sound like a great way to distance Biden from the pandemic stench, even if he might get an opportunity to reset the response, maybe, if the White House allows a new HHS Secretary to run the policy him/herself.

Good to see the Biden camp finally beginning to agree with Rand Paul. Exit quote: “Are you a medical doctor?”

Biden and his pro-criminal Democrats

by Michael McKenna

For two years, we have endured what the media has described as efforts to defund, reform or otherwise neuter the police, executed initially by rioters and riff-raff in the streets and later by local prosecutors funded by people (George Soros) who are actively hostile to the United States. But that anti-policing frame of reference is not quite right. Most of those engaged on these issues from the left are not primarily anti-police.They are pro-criminal.“Prosecutors” who are the tip of the spear of this pro-criminal movement include district attorneys in San Francisco (Chesa Boudin, the son of not one but two cop killers), New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Boston.

Biden To Set Free Would-Be 9/11 Hijacker

“Mohammed al-Qahtani, who planned to hijack planes on Sept. 11, 2001, for al Qaeda but was denied entry into the United States, will be transferred to Saudi Arabia following the Biden administration’s decision late last week to set him free. He is scheduled to be flown to Saudi Arabia and placed in a ‘custodial rehabilitation and mental health care program for extremists.'”

Adults!

The freefall of President Joe Biden’s job approval rating continued this week, dropping to 38 percent over the past month.

Surveying 1,355 adults between February 2-4, the IBD/TIPP poll found the president’s job approval rating stood at 38 percent with a disapproval rating of 48 percent of adults, with another 14 percent undecided.

They weren't trying to lose.

It just worked out better for them and America they did.

Yes, I’ll agree with that, it worked out for America that Trump got beat.

Not so much for Putin

Does Joe Biden simply not get it? The Russians are not scared of you.

They see everything. They see your mind is oatmeal. They see Jill holding your hand because you don’t know where you are anymore. They see you simply cannot do the job.

Everyone saw the shambolic exit out of Afghanistan. Now, Biden’s people say that an invasion is imminent. They’ve been saying this for weeks.

Are they right or not? I don’t know, but with the endless stream of bad news and no accomplishments that have marked this Biden presidency, I bet they’re hoping for a war. What a distraction that would be, right?

Biden spoke with Putin and frankly, I don’t see how the latter didn’t keel over with laughter (via NBC News) :

President Joe Biden on Saturday warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that the consequences of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which U.S. officials have said could be imminent, would be "swift and severe," according to a White House description of the conversation.

Biden told Putin that the U.S. and its allies and partners "will respond decisively and impose swift and severe costs" should Moscow move on its neighbor, the White House said.

Biden also reiterated that a Russian invasion would produce "widespread human suffering and diminish Russia's standing" in the world, the White House said, adding that Biden was "clear with President Putin that while the United States remains prepared to engage in diplomacy, in full coordination with our allies and partners, we are equally prepared for other scenarios."

The call between the two leaders, which lasted just over an hour, came after the State Department ordered the evacuation of most of its embassy staff in Kyiv. The Pentagon on Saturday also ordered the departure of the 160 members of the Florida National Guard that had been deployed to train Ukrainian forces.

This has been my concern all along. President Biden likes war.  And it would help the economy and it would unite the country.  Just what he needs to save the 2022 election and 2024 to get himself re elected.

Either that or he swoops down in his red, white and blue cape and saves us from war.   Win win.

No I do not. Same reason as DeSantis, they don't have that presidential persona, IMO.

I think Biden runs again. Not sure what GOP will do. Probably someone no one has thought about yet.

Joey has zero chance of running again.  There's actually a greater chance he doesn't finish out his first term.  And trying to get rid of Kamala will lose the Dems a ton of support.  Much less if they try to replace her with another old(er) white guy.

As for DeSantis, he'll beat whoever they put out there.  Alleged lack of presidential persona or not.

Then you're officially in the minority of Democrats

A MAJORITY of whom do NOT want him to run again - according to a CNN poll.

Unprecedented just one year in:

....a poll for CNN revealed that 51% of Democrats and Democrat-leaners don’t want Biden to run again in 2024, as the Daily Wire relayed.

Yes, that poll was conducted by CNN, the network that almost never says a bad word about Democrats. So the fact that a CNN poll showed that 51% of Democrats don’t like Biden means the actual number is probably closer to 71%.

Anyway, here is what CNN wrote about its own poll:

"Of those Democratic-aligned voters hoping to see Biden replaced on the ticket, 31% said it was because they didn’t want him to be reelected. Thirty-five percent said it was mostly because they doubted Biden’s ability to win against a Republican candidate, and the rest offered up other reasons for wanting to switch up the ticket — the most common (19%) being concerns about Biden’s age. (Biden will turn 82 in November 2024.)

There’s more.

“Democratic-aligned voters also aren’t yet gravitating en masse toward any specific alternatives: Only 12% of all Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters wanted to see a nominee who isn’t Biden and had a specific alternative in mind,” CNN wrote. “No individual candidate was named by more than 5% of those who didn’t want Biden atop the ticket.”

So apparently, the Democrats don’t know who they want. They just know they don’t want Biden.

So let me get this straight… the only thing you believe should matter to a politician is getting re-elected in an election year? It makes no difference how HORRIBLE their job performance is in the years in between? Fabulous!

Awful policies yield awful results. This was completely predictable. America would be in a much better place right now under Trump’s leadership. Best US President since Reagan.
