Probably take a look at Jurnigan, hope they take a look at Rankins in NO or Irving after reinstatement.

Irving is on the raiders practice squad, but I’m sure we could try and scoops him

I may be wrong but doesn't he love it in Buffalo.

Yes, as far as I know. Somebody was speculating we would let him go next year. I don't see that happening.

I will continue to pound the drum for David Irving, former Cowboys DE. 6’7” 290 pounds great pass rushers and strong enough to set and hold edge against the run.

Free Agent so no compensation required will be motivated to be playing for a possible contract next year.

We should tons of cap space next year when Trent Murphy, jerry Hughes, and Harrison Phillips gone. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Micah Hyde and Cole Beasley cut also.

so now we are cutting Phillips, Hyde, and Beasley....  LOL.    Phillips is hurt and will most likely not be fully recovered until next year... he was one of our best Dline last year before the injury.  Why are they cutting Beasley??   for what purpose?  Because he's too good?   Hyde is the mostly on this list but even that is a stretch.

It all comes down to cap numbers. I absolutely love Beasley but I see us replacing him with Hodges. It’s just a numbers game. The others are not Performing what there contracts are paying them. We are going to have to get that QB1 money from somewhere.

What have you seen from Hodges to believe he can replace one of the best slot receivers in the AFC..   Phillips is on his entry level contact. so you want to cut him because he's hurt?

I like Tomlinson (Giants) but doubt Beane will do it and it sounds like Frazier isn't too interested in adding anyone at this point.

Agreed. Dalvin Tomlinson would immediately bolster the run Defense which will make everyone else around him better.  This would fill a major need and he could probably be had for a 3rd or 4th rounder.  (if 4th or 5th, I say pull the trigger immediately)

One of the highest paid DL's in the NFL.  Thankfully we have cap friendly outs this offseason for Hughes, Jefferson, Butler and Addison with Murphy coming off the books.

a bunch of terrible signings right there (except Hughes, he just got old).   I like Bean, but wow, this was a huge miss.

I absolutely love Beasley and with no pre season football we as fans have seen nothing from what Hodges can do. Except for for coaching staff and front office. Phillips counts 1.1 million against the cap next season. As of right now we only have 2 million and change to spend. All I’m saying is no cap space comes with cap cuts!

What really sucks about that graphic on cap space is the fact that we have quantity without quality...a bunch of meh players making too much. At least Indy, Philly, KC, ATL, Pitt, LA, Cincy, Cleveland, and Dallas have top tier “best in the league” guys on those defensive lines.

I’d rather have quality over quantity.

Then why aren’t the Boys re-signing him since they are even more  horrible on defense ???
