I think I said I don’t play by the rules and I surely don’t jump to your “comply” demand.   So you lost the debate and bailed. I get it.

Hoax.  I don’t jump to your comply demands.  If you show me the discussion, I’ll be happy to continue it with you.  It’s hard for me to know what you would like to talk about unless you show it to me.  Hence Rule #2.  We can’t play guessing games here.  So if you’d like to continue the discussion, please take the time that you previously dedicated to declaring a fake victory in an Internet discussion and let the person with whom you have engaged know what exactly it is that you would like to discuss.  Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.

Simple Jim only asks questions, he does not discuss. You should know this by now.

You ran to the mods, you have no right to cite the rules

But it is kinda funny how he is misunderstanding what Rule #2 states.

Personally , I think that he has used it so much that he is just lost now.

Anything having to do with 3rd Chair is #2. If he's truly an attorney he has totally wasted an expensive education. On the other hand, he might be kept on someones payroll because, sorta like they need a notary public.

Awesome.  I am trying to get @SectionC3 to engage in a discussion and you accuse me of not wanting to discuss.

And you do know about how debate works right?  Oh sorry that's a question.

And @Tiberius stopped responding to my questions because he knew if he answered them he would be exposed for the boring, pathetic fraud he is.  Kind of where @SectionC3 is headed. Or wait.  He's been there a long time.

Let's do the math.  A quick search shows that $3.8b has been allocated to the wall.   There are 50,000,000 students in the us.  That allocates a whopping $76 per student.  Awesome!

No cops with guns.  Not necessary.  I agree.  So  cops with guns ONLY intimidates students of color.  Please link to the research that shows that.  You mention that SOC have more problems than SWOC have.  What are those problems and where do those problems arise from?

Your last point.  Not sure what you're referring to in our conversation.

You didn't address my response to you regarding forced integration. Please explain how this will work and what will be the benefits.  I'm not saying there are no benefits of this I just would like to hear from you.

You also didn't address my final point about why some SOC have done extremely well on gifted and talented programs while others have not?   Why have some done very well while others have not?  What are the differences between those that excel and those that don't?

Here you go @SectionC3  for the second time.  Care to discuss?

Socialism is the equality of outcome?  What the???

How about we change the whole system to have the equality of opportunity. Oh wait.  That already exists.

But seriously we can agree that there is racism in this country.  Always will be. You can’t get rid of it. But I don’t see evidence of systemic racism.

And I’ll end with a question.  I assume you think there is systemic racism. What would YOU recommend to eliminate it?

Integration of suburban and urban students.

So you're for busing and forced integration?  So who gets bused where?  Suburban to Urban or Urban to Suburban and how do you determine who goes where?

What will be accomplished by this?

Stop over-policing of schools.

     Over-policing in what way?

Equity in funding (pretty well done here in NYS, in my opinion)

Where will this funding come from?  Once it comes in then what?

Better representation of SOC in gifted and talented programs

I was just typing "pardon my ignorance, but what is SOC"  and then it hit me. Students of color.    There is one race that is very well represented in Gifted and Talented programs.  They have been for decades.  In your mind, why is that?

Oh, forgot about that.  Where's the money coming from?  Same place as every other like initiative.  State and federal budget.  You'll probably say, "But you're not specific!"  OK.  So I'll start with taking all of the monies dedicated to the Trump Wall, which apparently can be destroyed with a rubber mallet, and directing them toward this purpose.

Other points:  no cops with visible guns within schools.  Not necessary.  Adds to feeling militarization of schools.  And intimidates SOC, who already have enough problems trusting police.

And on the trust point?  Community policing.  No-brainer. Buffalo is going back to it (in baby steps).  Should be the same everywhere.  Can't have the paramilitary types from Wales policing people in Buffalo.  Problems are inevitable.

Don't knock notaries, brah. It's apparently a tough test to be one.

Also, it's unconstitutional to be a county Sheriff in New York if you're also a notary.

Are we talking about the same thing? I'm referring to the person who has a seal and attests to the fact that the right person signed a specific document. You seem to be referring to a district judge, sometimes called a justice of the peace.

Yes we are talking about the same thing.

It's a quirk in the NY Constitution that elected Sheriffs cannot hold any other state commission (which a notary is.)

I'm not sure why elected sheriffs entered the conversation but it appears to me that notaries don't do much other than look at a person's license or other photo identification and then attest that the signature on a document is theirs. They then top it all off with an official seal. Now, I can understand why it might take Tiberius years of study to learn how to do this but I'm willing to guess that you or I could finish learning the actual necessities of the job over a lunch hour, with time to spare for a martini or two.

You can learn the necessities over a 5 minute martini break. The written test is apparently pretty tough (attorneys are exempt from taking it.) Might need a 3 or 4 martini lunch to learn the stuff.

Here's a sample test: https://www.howtobecomeanotaryinny.com/sample-ny-notary-practice-exam.html
