Sweden is headed towards lockdown because their strategy has failed.

Are you in denial or do you really not understand what is happening in Sweden, now?

Or is this just typical Trumplike stamping of feet and denying facts?

De-Nial ain't a just a river in Egypt.   Trumplets share the same alternative universe as their hero where they all deny any facts that they don't like.

Sweden has had 5,933 deaths from Covid. Every few days we get another story how Sweden is a death trap. It's just not the case. Every death hurts, but 6K is a blip. Sorry your religion of covid is fake.

Mark Short, VP Mike Pence's chief of staff, plus at least 2 other VP staffers, have tested positive for Covid-19.   Mike Pence will continue his campaign tour instead of quarantining for 14 days as CDC guidelines recommends because being a politician running for office makes him "an essential worker".

WH Chief of Staff Mark Meadows apparently tried to suppress the news of these positive tests.

Rounding the corner with Captain Ahole at the wheel:

The words of Dr. William Haseltine, an internationally renowned infectious disease expert, summarized the resounding—and sobering—takeaway from several public health experts and epidemiologists who spoke to The Daily Beast on Saturday, hours after the U.S. smashed its previous record of new daily COVID-19 cases. The country hit 83,757 reported infections in one day on Friday, while hospitalizations rocketed across the nation by 40 percent.

The problem, experts say, isn’t Friday’s number. It’s the upward trajectory.

“It’s going to get a lot worse,” said Dr. Haseltine, who was at the heart of the U.S response to the HIV/AIDS and anthrax crises. “We’re looking at easily an excess of 100,000 infections a day and overwhelmed hospitals all over the country.”

The scientists have been all over the board from the beginning with this and have been wrong more often than not. With that track record I'll use my own experience guided by intelligence. Results are results and the numbers don't lie. Trust yourself a little more and stop listening to CNN.

Sweden is doing a better job than Spain and Italy.
In fact there are 16 countries that have done worse than Sweden. With Sweden having No Masks, No Lockdown. Explain.

If only they could hide in their basements all day like your heroes Harris/Biden campaign.  That is a great way to avoid any virus. Hide all day.

The Lincoln Project would be ecstatic if they got sued by those two because it would open up the crooks to being exposed to discovery in court.

No matter how stupid Ivanka and Kushner are, their lawyers know that.

The brainchild of the short-tenured Michael Caputo at HHS. Who ever said they don't have a plan to combat COVID-19?

A federal health agency halted a public-service coronavirus advertising campaign funded by $250 million in taxpayer money after it offered a special vaccine deal to an unusual set of essential workers: Santa Claus performers.

As part of the plan, a top Trump administration official wanted the Santa performers to promote the benefits of a Covid-19 vaccination and, in exchange, offered them early vaccine access ahead of the general public, according to audio recordings. Those who perform as Mrs. Claus and elves also would have been included.

The Department of Health and Human Services said Friday the Santa plan would be scrapped. The deal was the brainchild of the official, Michael Caputo, an HHS assistant secretary, who took a 60-day medical leave last month. The rest of the campaign now is under an HHS review.

The Santa “collaboration will not be happening,” and HHS Secretary Alex Azar had no knowledge of Mr. Caputo’s outreach discussions, an HHS spokesman said. Mr. Caputo didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Ric Erwin, chairman of the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas, called the news “extremely disappointing,” adding: “This was our greatest hope for Christmas 2020, and now it looks like it won’t happen.”

If you're a Trumplet or alt Rightist or some other assorted Rightie who gets his/her "news" from Right Wing twitter feeds, then you do probably "really believe Covid will go away as a story the day after the election" because you really believe that the mainstream media is using the coronavirus pandemic news to help Joe Biden.   It doesn't matter to you that more than 225,000 Americans have died from Covid-19 because they were old or overweight or smokers or asthmatic or cancer patients/survivors or diabetics ...

So the great leader of the Covid task force tells 60 minutes that he has great faith in the American people to make the right decisions, to do what they believe is right, should they wear a mask or control size of gatherings. 230,000 deaths and increasing cases across the country.

If he trusts the American people to make the right choices, why when it comes to abortion does he not trust them to make the right decision and wants to force them all into his religious beliefs. What a two faced phoney!
