Does everyone still love deal if we have to re-do his contract?

Diggs wasn’t happy in Minny because he didn’t get the ball enough.  I can’t imagine he is going to be any happier here.

Why don’t you think he will get the ball enough. Btw every good WR wants the ball more

There was no chance that Lamb, Jeudy or Ruggs would be there at #22 and I think the WR crop after them all have second round grades. Diggs > Higgins, Jefferson, Mims, Aiyuk, Reagor, Claypool etc.

i have to admit that Diggs, Brown and Beasley is a hell of a group to have at WR. I expect #54 will be spent on DE or OT at this point. Prince Tega Wonagho, Kenny Willekes and Alton Robinson immediately come to mind. Overall I think the Bills did no good here, they did GREAT good.

This is what it comes down to for me. If the Bills think those top 3 guys are all gone by 22 it is either trade up (and give up more in picks) to get to 14 or 16 and take one of them, or take a 2nd round graded receiver in the 1st.

Diggs avoids that problem. And he is 26. It is not like we traded for a 29 year old. He is better than any receiver who will be available at #22.

He had 165 catches for 2250 yards the last 2 seasons, so, not really.

He was sharing targets with a better WR.  He couldn't handle that.

And Addison... a 32, a 31, an always injured 29 and a 2nd year player taken in round 7

Do you see any viable options that migh be available at 54?  Do you think Anae might still be there?  Would you be on-board with Terrell Lewis and his injury history there?

No he was sharing his targets with an inferior receiver. And this is not a new opinion. I have been saying Diggs > Theilen for 2 years.

Bradlee Anae

He is my guy. I would love him at #54.

I think Anae might get there and he would be my pick. Greenard after that is a possibility. Josh Uche too. Possibly Weaver from Boise State. I'm more wary on Lewis.

I hope that one day our qb stinks his way to 70% completions on 600 attempts for 4300 yards and 30 tds

Matthew Coller who used to work for WGR but has been in Minnesota the past few years said that Diggs frustration was mainly that he’s ultra-competitive and he felt Cousins shrinks in big moments and doesn’t have that same personality

It's going to be a long nerve-wracking wait for them hoping to get DE help at 54.  They will be sweating that one for a while.

I don’t think they will sweat any one position. Like last year they will target players not positions

If they even entertain the thought of Robinson at #54, they got wasted prior to the draft and strayed completely off their board.

I'd agree with that. But to say he stunk in 2018 is silly.
