Weinstein Convicted Of Rape

Powerful person held accountable. No word if Trump will pardon this monster or not.

Weinstein’s lawyers complain that the Republican Senate should have been the jury

Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano reacted to the Harvey Weinstein verdict on “America’s Newsroom” Monday, calling it a "significant victory" for the disgraced movie producer and a "monumental setback" for prosecutors.

Weinstein, 67, was convicted of first-degree commission of a criminal sexual act and third-degree rape but was acquitted of two more serious charges of predatory sexual assault, as well as first-degree rape. The charges Weinstein was convicted of carry a total sentence of up to 29 years in prison.

“He’s still facing serious time," Napolitano said "... But these are not the life sentences, the big ones the government wanted."

Was it Funny when Trumps buddies Ken Star and Alan Dershowitz got Epstein off almost Scott free?

Was it funny when the “prosecutors” Alex Acosta signed off on the ridiculous plea deal for Epstein?

Was-it funny when Trump rewarded Acosta with. Job in the cabinet?

Dont kid yourself, there was sadness in Trump today over this verdict

How so? He’s been his constant defender since he became prez, defended him at impeachment and he also is the guy that got Epstein off, well, legally anyway

He made a constitutional argument.  I wouldn't argue that he particularly likes the president.  Last part...well played.

Now you’re just being silly. Dershowitz is not buddies with Trump.  He doesn’t even like him! Funny how the Left glorified Romney for crossing over but hates Dershowitz for doing the same thing.

If it wasn't for double standards the Left would have none.

Are we talking about the same Dershowitz that defended Trump on the Senate floor saying he could do whatever he wants? The same one who goes on Fox to defend him?

The same Dershowitz that got Epstein off almost scott free to rape children again?

Oh ya, the hate between them is just so palpable!

Except Dershowitz didn't change his position by "crossing over". He believes in the Constitution and was standing up for it. Tiberius is not smart enough to see that.

Harvey Weinstein Taken to Bellevue Hospital With Chest Pains

By Gene Maddaus

Harvey Weinstein was taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan on Monday after complaining of chest pains, according to his representative.

Weinstein was supposed to be transferred to the jail on Rikers Island, but was diverted to Bellevue. Weinstein was remanded into custody on Monday morning after a jury convicted him on charges of sexual assault and third-degree rape.

Bellevue is known for its psychiatric facility, but it also serves as a hospital for jail inmates.

Weinstein had been free on $2 million bond, but Justice James Burke ordered him held in jail prior to sentencing on March 11.

A rational adult can see where someone with actual conviction and standards could make a constitutional argument on behalf of someone they don't agree with.  That is how the rule of law and society works.  People like you should cling to that idea.

You mean this argument? This is a rule of law argument?

Clearly, by his use of the word 'a', preceding the word 'president', Dershowitz is obviously indicating that not only are he and Trump besties, but that they also mutually cheat at golf, eat burnt steak with ketchup, AND have two or more scoops of ice cream at a time.

You're a ***** idiot.

By Marta Dhanis, Sasha Savitsky, Tyler McCarthy | Fox News

NEW YORK – Harvey Weinstein, 67, was sentenced in New York City on Wednesday to 23 years in prison for third-degree rape and a criminal sex act as he maintained he simply had consensual "extramarital affairs" with the victims.

Weinstein was convicted on two counts last month: criminal sex act for the 2006 assault of a production assistant and rape in the third degree for the 2013 attack on another woman. On the criminal sex act count, he faced a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 25 years, while the third-degree rape count carried a maximum penalty of four years in prison.

I'm going to guess that, after reception, he goes to Auburn Correctional Facility or Attica Correctional Facility. Outside chance he winds up in Wende Correctional Facility or Marcy Correctional Facility because of his medical/upcoming psychiatric issues.
