The Impeachment Trial of President Donald J. Trump

Since Adam Schiff had his backside handed to him BADLY in front of the entire WORLD trying to impeach Trump for beating Hillary in 2016, he’s been very busy tweeting out sanctimonious garbage trying to distract from the fool he made of himself.

James Woods came down on Schiff for Brains:

Political spirochete.

Know what that is?

Welp, this editor did not and upon doing a Bing search (FU, Google) it appears that a spirochete is the bacterium that causes syphillis.

Heh.........Man, we are so glad Mr. Woods is back.

I wonder if they got him doing the barium pill thing DR speculated about years ago.

Like when you have your septic tank pumped out. You just look at the truck leaving and say, “Get that s ***** t outta here!”

Conspiracy theorists will claim that he is bringing her back in order to be able to use executive privilege to prevent her from testifying in the future, since Dems will be continuing to subpoena anyone and everyone in order to continue their fishing expedition.

The inability to release a lost cause will cost the left much more than it will ever gain them.

Years from now history will not look kindly on Dems in the Trump years.

Unless it's history in public school history books, in which case they'll hear how successfully the Dems persisted following Hillary's presidential election in 2016.

I will give her credit - I've never seen someone invest so much lunacy into trying (and failing) to polish a turd. Do those morons really think anyone who isn't already a loony liberal cares about their focus-group tested "impeached forever" line? The more they try to speak about their failed smear, the higher Trump's numbers get.

Of course, as a follow up, I'd like to know her opinion on Clinton being acquitted without witnesses, evidence, or a "trial".

There's stupidity and then there is Liberal Stupidity.

I can’t imagine living in a constant state of denial. They didn’t lose the 2016 election. Trump colluded with Russia. Kavanaugh’s a rapist. Trump wasn’t acquitted. Sheeeesh!

Trump really cares about corruption!

That was a defense of Trump! Wow. Pardons say otherwise...to normal people, anyway

How many people did Barry pardon again?  And were any of the people Trump pardoned non-violent offenders, who are getting released in droves in NY?

That's different because Barry is black and you're a racist so shut up! [/Q-tibs response]

WIKIPEDIA

By the end of his second and final term on January 20, 2017, United States President Barack Obama had exercised his constitutional power to grant the executive clemency—that is, "pardon, commutation of sentence, remission of fine or restitution, and reprieve"[1]to 1,927 individuals convicted of federal crimes. Of the acts of clemency, 1,715 were commutations (including 504 life sentences) and 212 were pardons.[2] Most individuals granted executive clemency by Obama had been convicted on drug charges,[3] and had received lengthy and sometimes mandatory sentences at the height of the war on drugs.[4]

Obama holds the record for the largest single-day use of the clemency power, granting 330 commutations on January 19, 2017, his last full day in office.[5][6] He also issued more commutations than the past 13 presidents combined

Trump has a ways to go to catch up to Obama, since he's sitting on 26 pardons and commutations.

DON SURBER: Impeachment was good for the USA.

The 3-year obsession with removing President Donald John Trump from office consumed and defeated Democrats. They should have worked with him. Obama should have been man enough to admit defeat, and given him a peaceful transition of power. This would have allowed the party to heal itself and prepare properly for 2020.

Instead, they resisted. All this did was get them all worked up and show how incompetent they are. They should have accepted defeat after the Mueller report, but no, they continued to try to bring down this president, which resulted in an impotent impeachment that wound up knocking out their best chance for winning in 2020, Joe Biden.

Without someone who appears to be moderate, Democrats are overrun by communist kooks.

Read the whole thing.

Yes, but all 26 acts of clemency are evil, racist, corrupt, and badwrong. Meanwhile, all 8 trillion of Obama's acts were pure, just, and right.

That mother ***** must be impeached... again!

BUT THE NARRATIVE!

John Bolton Trashes Democrats’ ‘Grossly Partisan’ Impeachment, Downplays Impact of Would-Be Testimony.

According to Bolton, the House “committed impeachment malpractice." He added that “the process drove Republicans who might have voted for impeachment away because it was so partisan.”

Bolton also revealed that he was surprised the Senate voted against him testifying, but dowplayed the impact his testimony would have had anyway. “People can argue about what I should have said and what I should have done. I would bet you a dollar right here and now, my testimony would have made no difference to the ultimate outcome.”

Publisher pushes back release date for John Bolton’s book

NEW YORK - - The publisher of John Bolton’s highly anticipated memoir has pushed back the release date from March 17 to mid-May.

Simon & Schuster cited the ongoing government security review of the former national security adviser’s “The Room Where It Happened.”

The new date is May 12, the publisher said in a news release.

“The new date reflects the fact that the government review of the work is ongoing,” Simon & Schuster said.
