John Denver was known to indulge. Back in the 70s, my uncle's church group was thinking of asking him to speak at a banquet. They nixed the idea when they became aware of his usage.

 

BTW, Charlie Daniels doesn't sing the weed lines in "Long Haired Country Boy" anymore. He's "reformed" now.
