Who is your top mid round targets in rounds 3 and 4?

Recommended Posts

With all the talk of how our first 2 picks will go, wondering who everyone is drooling to grab in rounds 3 and 4 where we have currently 3 picks?  Below are a few of the ones I would love to grab with these picks if they are there.

#74 (round 3):  Andy Isabella - WR - This kid could be our Kupp/Edelman type player out of the slot but way faster.  His combine was pretty darn good, so he may sneak into the 2nd round.  But with how the deep this draft is at several positions, especially WR, its still quite possible we can get him in the 3rd.

#105 (round 4):  Bryce Love - RB - I think someone is going to get a steal here with him in 4th round.  Sounds like he will be ready to play sometime this year (even likely by camp), and he idolizes Shady, so ideal guy to learn behind.  He is a guy that could go 3rd round too, but he seems to be seen as more of a 4th round guy right now given injury and the fall off from his previous year too.  Use him sparingly early in the season and let him ease back into it to groom him for more touches later in the year and to potentially start in his 2nd season.

#124 (round 4):  Josh Oliver - TE - This kid to me reminds me of young Jimmy Graham.  Not sure how much you guys all got to see of him being at smaller school here in CA, but this kid looks like a real gem to grab.  Hoping we could nab him in the 4th, but he impressed at combine, so his stock may have risen and may go higher.

Homer but I think he could be the best mid rd back.  Miles Sanders.  Has plenty of tread.  Was under utilized last year and was behind Barkley the year before. Smooth and quick player.

Some of the guys that I like after the 2nd round are:

WR Stanley Morgan

WR Tyre Brady

WR KeeSean Johnson

RB Trayveon Williams

RB Matt Colburn

CB Michael Jackson

CB Derrick Baity

OG Dru Samia

OT Bobby Evans

OG Sua Opeta

OT Trey Pipkins

DT Jerry Tillery

DT Chris Slayton

Andy Isabella, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Kelvin Harmon, Emanuel Hall, etc. if they happen to slide

Some say Anthony Johnson's stock has gone down,it would be great to land him in the third.

I think he’s in danger of dropping into the 3rd/4th.

With a bad combine, injury issues, small school, and the thigh WR group I think he’ll be hard pressed to crack the middle of the 4th. Maybe a pro-day can help him, but his stock is way down. He was seen as a top 20 pick before the start is the season.

This is another guy I like a lot and who I want to target in that 3rd or 4th range if Isabella is gone.  Good choice!

If we got him in the 4th or 5th (seen some think he could slide there which seems crazy to me) he could be a steal.  I haven't followed him closely lately, whats the reason for the slide?  I thought he was a 2nd/3rd round guy going into the offseason.

Better and more realistic IMO: landing him in the 5th.

But he is going to run on the Bulls Pro Day..that should tell us a lot.

If you think his 40 yard dash is going to boost his stock back up, I think you're going to be disappointed. Having said that, I've been lower than most on him for the past two years now so I could just be wrong on him. I honestly think there would be better WR value picks in the 5th than him so I'm definitely not hoping for him to be a Bills pick earlier than that.

Injury, uninspiring measurements, poor production (relative) last year (as a result of the injury), poor projection at the next level- not big enough to specialize in contested catches, not fast enough to be a deep threat/RAC target/ just overall not seen as a great prospect and the WR class is really rounding into form. I still think he could be a steal, but I doubt he is a 3rd round pick at this point. He does a lot of things well, but nothing great.

If he's healthy in time for the UB pro-day (which should actually be a buzz event with him, Jackson, and Hodge) and he can run well he might be able to get back into the mid to late three range.

Even if healthy, I wouldn't expect him to run very well. He isn't a straight-line speed guy. He's deceptively fast in game (granted, against weaker competition) but he isn't a burner by any means.
