Just like there wasn't for voluntarily selling a team after getting charged with sexual and racial harrassment.

When/how did they force him to sell the team?

No link.  Just incredibly coincidental otherwise.

Yes, quite a coincidence that a crusty old rich dude who was being embarrassed in the press for awful behavior (for which he never even offered an apology for, naturally) decided to cash the F out of the NFL for billions.

Must have really had a gun to his head to "force" that decision!

That's funny...

How so?  There is no precedent for "involuntary stepping down".

You see, docs arguing that he will face harsh punishment and no punishment all at once.... you know, based on precedent of what people were forced to volunteer to do in marginally related situations

On some level (or planet, perhaps) it all makes sense!

LOL!  You just (unwittingly, as usual) made my point for me!

But by all means, give me a link where it says he was planning on selling the team before the bad press started.

Try a reading comprehension course NoSaint.  Not that I think it would help.

Oh.... so you were saying his SHAME "forced" him to sell the team!

Yes, yes1....he was SO ASHAMED that he refused to apologize for his misdeeds....and he had a statue of himself appear at the entrance to the stadium!

Yes---that is a man embarrassed to the point of being "forced" to accept 14  times the amount of money he paid for this team---while still insisting on the NDA enforcement against those he abused.

Another point skillfully made!  When in hole,  no one digs more furiously than our own doc!

Ah yes, because he didn't apologize and had a statue placed it proves that he voluntarily sold the team.  Can't beat that wonderful logic!  Never mind that the longer he held onto it, the more money he'd make.

But yes, these "punishments" are virtually nothing to them and they'll still make out like bandits in the end.  That wasn't the point.

He was a million years old.  Held on to it how long?

Anyway, so who or what exactly involuntarily forced him to sell the team.  First you insinuated that it was the league.  Then you switched to the possibility that he was shamed publicly into being forced to sell. Which is it?

Ralph held onto the bitter end.

And the league responds to public pressure.  Therefore...

So the league secretly forced him to sell the team?  How did they do that?

Probably the same way they kept Kaep from getting signed.  Not that I necessarily blame them for that one.

First, Kaep was a player, not a fellow owner.

Second, if the owners impetus for secretly "forcing Kraft to sell the team" is the "bad optics" of choosing a rub and tug joint that had trafficked workers (instead of a more acceptable,  certified traffic worker free establishment), then why have they accepted a constant beating for the really bad optics of allowing Kaep to become some sort of saint in the realm of social justice?

When all is said and done, if Kraft get the usual PTI, fine, community service a first time offender gets in that jurisdiction, it will be difficult for the owners to force him to do anything with his team.  In the extreme unlikelihood that he has to do time, he will give up control of the team to his son.  There is zero chance he would sell the team.   I believe all the other owners would accept this.

Denver tried to get Kaep.  Someday people will realise that he is unfocused on becoming a better QB.  At the moment he really isnt that good.  People say he would be better than this QB or that QB but he isnt 20 million better.  If he would take backup money he would get signed.

As for Kraft, if it is proven that these Women were in fact slaves then there is no way the NFL can allow him to keep the team.

It's already been assumed by law enforcement that they were.  But not sure how the NFL could weigh that.

He'll hand it over to his son.  They won't "take it away".

This is some silly stuff.  NFL voting to take away a franchise because of a rub and tug ?  Maybe if Kraft was himself a trafficker?  But that’s really not the case now is it.  This will end in a fine and maybe a suspension like Irsay.

Do you not grasp the seriousness of actual human trafficking.  I agree if these are willing participants it will be no big deal and it shouldnt be.  I also believe that law enforcement exagerates and lies in these situations as do the alleged victims.  Its much better to be a victim than a hooker when you are here illegaly.

Unless ofcoarse they actually are victims.

The "Sex Slave" was the criteria for setting up the sting.

There are still questions of these women living in the building speculated by the fridge full of food stuff and clothing on the premises.  Which only implies that they lived there .

As with all news in this microwave society   You need time to get to the truth of the matter.

The Truth we know.  Kraft was there two days running and getting serviced from some not so attractive older women.

He had the nerve to enter a not guilty plea even though there is video evidence.

Take the high road grampa and admit your wrong and go for counselling.

Looks like he got his rub from the manager and another licensed employee.  No slaves.

Also sounds like his lawyers will have the traffic stop tossed as illegal and of course they will challenge the legality of the cops surveillance tape
