Nate Clements Will Lead the Charge this Sunday Against the Lions; Bills in All Red Color Rush Uniforms

I can’t rmember the game, but I’ll always remember that schmuck for a game in which we were getting blown out. I mean it was a typical, embarrassing, Billsy Sunday. Late in the game a BAD pass went to the receiver Clements was covering and sailed way over the receivers head. Next thing ya know Clements is making an ass out of himself by celebrating his amazing lockdown skills. Doing the ‘don’t throw at me’ finger waive. He was one of the douchiest players of the drought by far.

Nate walked out on the bills after his rookie deal, right?   Guess they are running out of able bodied guys to "lead the charge"

They didn’t offer him a contract...

he played under a franchise tag then they didn’t want to offer him franchise long term money

I like AW too. I'm not sure what's going on with his relationship with the team, but at the time, Nate Clements signed potentially the biggest defensive contract ever. Bigger than what Gilmore did in NE. If you said you'd take potentially 50 million less to stay in a city you had no real attachment to, you're a liar. Buffalo was just a workplace to him.

They were both good. I think you're being foolish if you say either is much, much better than the other.

Clements was a play maker, a hard hitter, but he'd get beat way more than antoine. Antoine was as sound as any corner I've ever seen. Very smart player and was great with his form. He just had bad hands and worse ball skills.

They were both really good corners. But I mean we couldn't say that we enjoyed both Winfield and Clements, then this board would be boring.

Clements also signed a crazy contract with San Fran. I didn't like Marvs work here, but he made the right decision not matching that Clements contract.

He got beat more then Winfield? But got way more money? Are you dumb. Winfield wasn’t anywhere near Clements coverage wise.

cant recall Nate ever dropping any/many Ints And he scored when he got the ball.

yea it was a great move my Marv to let Clements walk then waste a pick a leodis mcklevin ???

they waste more resources trying to replace the guy then if they wouldve would’ve just resigned him

It was Donahoe that let him walk but sams difference as far as drought GMs go.

TD was fired after 2005, Nate left after 2006.

Now TD did let Lil Antoine go after 2003, which I had no problem with, as he showed no signs here of being the player that he was with the Vikings.

You are correct, I confused that non-resigning with Pat Williams. That stretch of time all kind of blended together.
