The voices who disagreed were silenced in favor of pushing through the administration's agenda. That's not to say everyone who thought there were WMD were lying, plenty believed it inside the IC (hence, confirmation bias), that would be as inaccurate as saying it was a universally agreed upon position. It wasn't. And because it wasn't, the IC used its media mouthpieces to push the opinion into fact territory in the MSM.
