I was very wrong about Tyrod & have to own it.

The offense would have been better with Tyrod than anyone that we have played. I don’t have any doubt about that. He doesn’t make mistakes.

I was fine moving on but to act like he is the same type of QB as Anderson or Peterman is ludicrous. Tyrod is a top 30ish qb that doesn’t turn it over. Those other 2 aren’t top 100 QBs. The Bills would have 1 more win (last week) with that level of play.

Just because we don't have any QBs that can throw for 200 yards doesn't mean we should be missing Tyrod. Expect more from your team. 300 yards passing is a pretty average game for a good QB in today's NFL. 100 is not acceptable. Has nothing to do with the receivers. We blamed it on the receivers before and now they are all over the league doing well. Benjamin will go somewhere and have 800-1000 yards receiving next year. Until we have a modern passing attack we will be a bottom feeding team

Passing yards are irrelevant. 3rd down conversions, yards per attempt, Red zone percentage and TD:INT tell the real story.

I know everyone on the board is a little testy lately but what I said was about TT's stats last year to this year.

I think even his numbers would be worse this year.

That's all I said.

Behind this O-line with Daboll's play calling I agree with you 100%.

I could see the thread if TT was the starter for the Browns balling out. It took their coaching staff 3 games to figure it out compared to our 3 years which is what hurts the most.

Tyrod and this offense with Anthony Lynn was awesome. Tyrod under McD was bad. And now we’re at a different level of bad - historically bad.

As bad as the offense was with Tyrod last year he didnt turn the ball over which kept us in games somewhat. We must be averaging 2-3 turnovers every week on offense. Its a disaster.

Listen, the Ty-Gun Offense was BAD. It was non-existent at times and definitely lost the Bills games. Amazingly, they have done what I thought was impossible: The 2018 Offense is even worse.

McD & B found a whole new level of inept performance that is so terrible that I am at a total loss for a word that adequately conveys just how bad it really is.

They have a roster spot filled by a player who is so detrimental to the team that he can't be put on the field. This is at the most important position in pro sports, by the way.

As for TT -- his stats would probably be exactly what they've always been. Most days under 200 yards and maybe a TD. But at least he's a professional-caliber QB that belongs on an NFL roster.

The Bills do not have a player at the QB position right now that fully fits that description.

Tyrod sucked with a good Oline in front of him and still managed to lead the league in sacks. How would Tyrod perform with this running game and Oline?

I will much rather take my lumps and watch Allen develop over watching TT anyday.

We’d be O for with tt

Oh, my bad!! Yeah, they wouldn’t have been good. The OL is worse. I’m of the belief that Daboll is better than Rico (although that’s not an endorsement). The offense would have looked a lot like last year (which is why I was fine moving on). We would be 3-4 now with Tyrod. The game or two at the end of the year wasn’t worth it.

TT's 19 yards per half wouldn't have won us a single game this year.  Kid stinks. Give me DA and the pick.

No problem Kirby.  I knew this years offense was going to be really bad.

They have proved to be even worse that I expected.

TT would in all probability get this team a few more wins.

The QB plan "they" had surely did not work out.  Just got to hope JA can improve.

Going to be a looooooooooooooooooooooooong year.

This offense may be worse without Tyrod, but there's not a single game I've watched this year where I've thought "gee I wish we still had Tyrod". I'm glad he is gone. He isn't a franchise qb. Yes we're terrible. But I'll take my chances with Allen over the next few years vs keeping Tyrod. He's awful

You are overlooking a very important part of the discussion, Bills QBs have thrown for 3 TDs and 12 INTs. That’s how you lose. We wouldn’t have won shootouts but could have consistently scored 20 points a week. Passing yards are irrelevant, points matter. Turnovers matter. We’d be (at least) 3-4 with a win last week (we also win that game if Allen doesn’t go out).

Again, though you got rid of Tyrod because you don’t care to be between 7-9 and 9-7. We all needed to accept that. The Bills did what they thought that they needed to in order to become an 11-5 team in the next couple of years. We will see how it plays out.

Hey, I have this from a very valid source. Hot off the press. Don't tell anyone because apparently many posters here haven't heard this news.

We're REBUILDING!!!

I’m fine with rebuilding but who are the players on offense that are a part of the future? Allen and Dawkins are. Maybe Zay is a 3rd receiver. That’s my issue. If they were a collection of young, talented guys I’d be fine. They aren’t. You don’t rebuild needing as many guys as the Bills need on offense. They have left little margin for error on FA and the draft. The Bills need to be right about virtually all of their additions.

Oh -- I don't want him back either. No thank you. I couldn't stand the thought of watching him take another snap for the Bills.

I'm just saying I was wrong about saying it was impossible for them to be any worse than they were last year.

The two active QBs that dressed today don't belong on an NFL roster.
