Bad news for the Patriots.

Rookie offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn suffered a torn Achilles injury during last night's preseason game against the Eagles, sources told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Around The NFL will have more on this story soon.

I FN hate hearing injuries to anyone especially to Rookies in preseason. Even if they are on the Patriots we don't want to hear things like this.

Poor guy--great player.

Not sure it matters much for this year, since I believe he's probably their long-term replacement for Shaq Mason at guard.  He's more than a bit on the small side for a tackle--he'd be, by quite a margin, the smallest tackle in the NFL

The Patriots OL will not be a strength this season.  I can't see the offense having too many long developing routes this season.

Not an ACL - an Achilles. Which is even worse.

I was watching him last night and he looked good. So sad.
