I suspect the plan for the Bills will be unchanged. McCarron might get the first go "sticking with the rotation" but then it will be Peterman and finally Josh Allen will get the most action.

I dunno...seems like with the way they've adjusted practice reps this week AJM will start, but I'd expect Josh to play with the twos.  He still may get the most time out there (2nd Q and into the 3rd), followed by Peterman.

I think you are right.  When Beane said the 1st game was 'important', I think this is what he meant.

'Do good, you play with the 2's.'

What if he does even better in Game 2?

I would be surprised personally, but you might be right.

I hadn't even thought about it.  I'm way more interested in seeing if Tyrod  plays any different in another team's uniform/scheme.  I remember saying 'same old Fitz' and 'same old EJ Manuel' virtually every time I've watched the both of them play for their new teams.

True.

I am always impressed when Tyrod throws a pass and the receiver catches it in stride. It seems most often the receiver has to be facing Tyrod before he will throw the ball to them.

Still, I think the OCs Tyrod had while a Bill left a lot to be desired.

You give them too much credit. Hue only won one game in 2016

My bad I guess I shouldn't have went by my faulty memory.

They just suck even more than I thought. ;)

It'll be interesting to see how he performs this year in a situation where the head coach, QB coach, OC, GM and owner all actually want Taylor in Cleveland opposed to how it was in Buffalo.  During his tenure in Buffalo, neither GM (Whaley or Beane) wanted Taylor.....nor did McD.  He technically had three HC"s and three OC's in three years and a WR corps that couldn't stay healthy, or, going into his third year, having his WR corps gutted in the off-season after spending his time and money to work out with them.

I have no idea whether he's going to have success in Cleveland but to say he only threw to receivers when they were facing him is a myth perpetuated by this board.  If the one preseason game last week is any indication, I see a guy who trusts his receivers and has an OC who knows how to design the offense to his strengths....something Rico and the other OC's couldn't do.

I’m not, actually. It’s hard for me to be excited about anything this season as I don’t expect Allen will be the starter. At least not until the playoff hopes die.

The anticipation of Josh Allen playing meaningful games with Shady, Clay, Croom, KB, & another threatening WR or 2, along with our best OL is what I want to see. Everything else is a complete temporary tease at the cost of this season.. jmo
