Women do, surprisingly enough.  Not often, not by a long shot, and I don't think this is such a case.  But it does happen.

Conflicting stories on the camera issue.

It’s possible she removed (or tried to remove) the replacement cameras that mccoy installed in June? Her attorney seems to imply they were still in the house last night, but her attorney also can’t spell mccoy’s name correctly so who knows what’s true in that letter.

Why does her attorney need to put out a press release?  This is a move (I say as a litigator), that usually accompanies a hold-up for money, not serious litigation.  The police can handle it.  And if she has a real civil claim she should file it.  Press releases are made to exert pressure.  I could be dead wrong, and staunchly oppose violence against any person, especially women or children, but my bull **** meter is sounding off.

What cohabitation does establish in this case, under Georgia state law, is TENANCY.  It does not establish a "family home" or a "shared home."  Legally, he is a lessor and she a lessee, and he must evict her as such.

Because it can be, in certain states if certain other conditions are met.

 

But none of those conditions are met in this case.  And arguments to ambiguous fictions of "family home" and "shared home" don't change that.

Because it appears that the two have reconciled repeatedly and he probably put it off. I mean he was still giving her expensive gifts just this past may.

Why would he remove and install cameras he controlled if he is sending in thugs?  That is her story.  If you are LeSean, is it not safer to just go with no cameras?   As I understand it, his version is she pulled the cameras out.  She would not want cameras watching her she could not control, true?   I am having trouble with her story.

And that her lawyer put out a press release.  As I stated above, that is a red flag for me.  In my experience, not what real victims do.  The rely on the police, and if they have enough to state a claim they file a civil action.  As a general rule:  Press release = hold-up for money.

Sounds like Meathead McCoy hired thugs to break into his house and take property from the woman that he felt was rightly his own.

 

If this story is not made up, there are some crimes being committed here, and they should extend to Meathead McCoy.

 

Will be interested to see how the Bills handle this with regard to McCoy.  He may be done as as Bill, regardless of any criminal proceedings that may or may not be brought against him long term.

Thanks.  I know the broad strokes, but thanks for filling in the local details.

 

I know in the DC region, evictions can take a stupid-long time, depending on the situation (I've known some foreclosure evictions in this area to drag out a couple years, on the legal argument of "banks are evil.")  Didn't know if GA leaned tenant or landlord.
