What are your plans for this weekend?

I am driving to Chattanooga Friday (a halfway point) to have lunch with my 4 year old grandson from Nashville and his babysitter, then driving him back to Atlanta. My wife will take him Saturday to Spartanburg, SC (about 3 hours) for her niece’s (and his cousin’s) HS graduation. He will spend the night with his cousins, then be back Sunday. Monday being a holiday allows my wife to make the transfer again in Chattanooga.

It may not sound like much to many of you, but it’s everything to us!

Thinking of driving out to Six Mile Creek Winery.

Its in Ithaca. We know the owner. Good wine

How far? Sounds like an Uber or an over-night.

Big cookout on Saturday, hopefully the rain holds off long enough to enjoy the day. 40 or so people, bean bags, bocce, beers, fireball, beer pong, and burgers. Let’s go.

God bless you! That sounds quintessential All American holiday.

(PM me your address.  ?

DC tonight with wife, not telling kids we are gone for the night till about 9:30 tonight. That's what having a 16-year-old junior boy in your house will do!

Richmond rest of weekend enforcing study times for said son as finals start Tuesday, and he ain't got any room to screw em up.

Oh the joys of parenthood!!!!

Sunday and Monday will be farm work, with my ballerina coming to see me Sunday I hope.

having a son.  beat that you !@#$ers.

Tacos, beer, practicing making a son with some 20something year old, and a few others I come across, Willie Nelson, farming, sleep, and gormet meal cooked by a chef followed by personal entertainment from a ballerina

Edit:. That's essentially my normal weekend, too.
