What scares me is an O coordinator who has done what???

If we are going to coach this kid up we need someone who has at least done it before......

I agree with this. I don’t have a problem with drafting Allen, as long as they get a top QB coach to develop him.

Have faith. He's a smart kid. Played for Wyoming. What he lacks is high-end experience. It's the old "I can" vs "I can't". "Lack of experience" vs "permanent inability".

If you were a smart student who blossomed late and went to UB and did well, and then I threw you into a Harvard exam room, and you only started to figure things out during the 2nd exam, would you be mad if I said I had my doubts about you? Or would you rather I said "good, he's already figuring things out in his 2nd exam in the toughest conditions"?

He did better than any QB at the Senior Bowl, and he only started to figure things out in the 2nd half. That sounds like great potential to me. Highest Wonderlic score too. Rosen is a schlub if Allen reaches his full potential.

I really hope you are right.

I will take the mudder of the elite thoroughbred in the end... Even though, it is tempting thoroughbred from time to time and I have my doubts that mudder can get done. I have more Duke of Argyll in me.:D

Rosen is good fit for Sunny AZ.  Allen, BFLo.

I will take the Higlander over The Fop.  The powder blue is so UCLA.  Brown & gold so Wyoming.

So what should we wager, guineas again?

I'm no longer upset and have decided to just roll with it. My approach going forward is to treat Allen as an interesting experiment given the very real huge upside. I'm gonna try and make it fun for myself regardless of the outcome. Maybe he'll be great; who really knows.

Exactly where I am. Didn't like the pick at all but now he is our guy. I hope he's great. I'm on the Josh Allen train unless he goes off the tracks in a couple years. We need to give him some time. I don't expect him to play well this year but wouldn't expect that from either of the other three with this line and these WR.  I expect him to start game one and the Bills to be a running team but let him air it out several times a game. We desperately need a speed guy now.

It reminds me of when Hillary Clinton lost the election TBH.

yup. I'm itching to know if part of the reason why a lot of the people wanted

rosen so much is because he said f trump.

fact is  every one of the qbs picked early has an equal chance to make it or bust.

So it comes down to opinions formed by other reasons imho.

I was all in on TT until I became exhausted. I'm all in on Allen.

We got it you drink the koolaid and think giving up a first and two second rounders for a project is smaaaaaaaht

No, actually I liked 5 QB’s in this draft. I liked Rosen more than Allen but I also am good with Allen.

Is that OK with you, Simpleton?

Why, he's not wrong. Don't forget TJ Graham over Russel Wilson.  I was literally screaming at the TV when we traded up "it has to be Wilson"  and it wasn't

TRADED UP

You guys are comparing a front office who kept the playoff drought to a front office who ended the drought... Think about that...

when the Bills drafted Whitner over Ngata and Maybin over Orakpo.   The fans made the right call in those cases over the Bills' Front Office.

Except this time, BOTH were terrible ideas.

The Bengals front office ended the drought.

Obviously not a consolation prize, but they better be right with Allen becoming a star QB in the league.

I'll say this. This is the most competent management we've had for a long time. I hope their work pays off here. So far so good so I will wait and see.

Gotta give the kid a chance though. You certainly may be right but he hasn't even played a snap in the NFL yet.

I get that he has red flags and I understand the concerns, but I just don't see why its necessary to rip on him when he literally hasn't even been a Bill for 1 full day

I very famously said R Wilson was the second best QB in the draft (Luck being 1) and should be a top 5 pick.
