If you watch college ball you would see it. Big deal Jackson was told not to run as much this last season just so some can say see he doesn',t run all the time, he is still the same QB as before, you watch he will do the same as Tyrod, run first evwtrytime. Those skrony legs will never survive in the NFL.

There is a reason why TT was a 5th round pick....there is a reason why LJ is considered a high pick

Take a look at their passing TD's......They are NOT the same player......Lamar actually throws the ball and does it from the pocket....he was told not to run as much?  Stop making excuses for your weak take

Wentz, ever hear of Wentz, he is the QB that made the team, Foles was lucky enough to ride out the finish. I give Foles a bunch of credit but he is not the guy that made that team, he is not a franchise QB just a backup that had that once in a lifetime miracle happen at the right time.

It still happened though. A backup QB went in to the spotlight in one of sports most watched events and lit it up.

Once in a lifetime or not, he showed up and delivered. My question is, why and how you would think ONE person (you said Rosen with Jets) can lead them to the top of the AFC East? Does he not have 10 other players on the field with him? Is he not a rookie learning a new system? Do they have a HOF coach at the helm? I mean seriously man. Even if Rosen turned out to be a HOFer, you think he can do it on his own?

The Jets basically have no solid picks this year except for their 1st. They are NOT just a QB away from beating the Pats in the division. Let's get real.

i have a feeling that the NYG are willing to trade the second person pick. Just not to the Jets.

bills should try to package 22 and 65 to get up to 13 or 14. Trade both top 15 picks and either a 2nd this year or 1st next year.

Smart man....

Giants have all the leverage now and the Bills will have to massively overpay to move up to that spot.  We'll definitely have to give up our two firsts this year and our first next year.  Probably a 2nd and a 3rd in this draft as well.  Maybe both 2nd's and a 3rd.

I dont think 22 and 65 would be good enough to move to 13 or 14. It would take more imo.

Maybe you need to research a little more, in 2016 he ran and ran alot. He was told they need him to tone back the running and push to throw more. He did alright but he was not as lighting as he was when he ran more. His little lower half of his body is going to get crushed in the NFL IMO. You ever see his toothpick legs?

Tyrod tride to throw more but ended up running more just like Jackson will fall back to when the throws are not happening in the NFL. Jackson is a wow type runner but we just had a wow runner at QB, I thought we were getting a pocket QB.

This was always going to be the price....huge.....I had already braced myself for it.

Whatever man, you want the same QB we just had for 3 years that couldn't be a pocket passer just to draft another that will fail at being one I guess we have different opinions on it.

It may work out if you can ride it to the end while the Giants are on the clock.  If they wait too long they lose some leverage.

lol.  doubt they can afford the #1.  both 1sts, 2nd, both 3rds and a 1st next year.  I don't see the bills doing that.  silly season

I don't even know if that's enough to get to #2 at this point when you look at what the Jets gave up to move from #6 to #3...

That definitely wouldn't be enough to get to #1 though.

The Jets gave up 2800 points on the draft value chart to get to the #3 pick which is valued at 2200 points. They gave up almost 2600 points in picks just this year, plus the 2nd next year.

To equal that, It would take both 1sts, both 2nds, our highest 3rd this year plus a 2nd next year to get to #2.

Jackson is much better than Tyrod.

Tyrod in 4 years of college had 67tds, Jackson in 3 years had 119tds. I would not be devastated if we took him, I have him just above Rudolph by a hair.

Either way, I want Rosen or Mayfield still. I have no desire for the next tier. Beane and scouts might see something though.

Compounding the issue for the Bills is McD wanting to pass on QB last year..........and the perception that he made a trade with a connection in KC rather than the team with lesser prospects for the coming season and ended up with the 22nd pick instead of the 4th pick.      They are lucky they got a good player in Tre White otherwise they'd be getting crucified Browns-style for it.

Which is why you grab one even if he doesnt fit the 'perfect' mould. A franchise QB is a broad enough term that it neednt always be equated with greats like Rodgers or Brady or BenR. A above average QB with a strong team around him can also win, as Foles did.  Ofcourse we want the Bills to trade up this year when the crop is good and we have the ammo. BUT ..... Lets say worst case Bills are unable to trade up to get the QB they want this year, I would seriously consider setting ourselves up for a trade-up next year by trading DOWN and acquiring first round picks for next year. I really hope this doesnt come to pass but have to think longer term and not grab a QB just for show.

Should have just kept Tyrod then IMO

Hell no man. I don't think I could have watched this season.

All we can do is pray that another teams back-up is our savior. Hopefully Beane can still make a move and get Mayfield.
