Landry to the Browns!

 Perhaps two 2nd rounders?

I would be shocked unless it was the Eagles pick number 64. The market for Landry in a trade can't be that high. I think it would probably be pick 64/65 plus a conditional 5th or so in 2019 (Which isn't a bad haul for the Fins.) Landry is a good player but what team is going to give up more than a 3rd for a player that they will then have to pay a huge contract for. If the Browns hold onto their 2 high 2nd round picks.

Fair value.

Landry was a 2nd round pick. He goes out and puts up superb numbers.

Nobody has caught more balls him in the first four years, ever.

And you can't even get a 2nd round pick for the guy? Yes, you'll have to pay him, but so what? 2/3 of the league could take his contract on today.

This trade market is truly bizzare.

He is a nice fit with the speed they have in Gordon and Coleman. They will give him room to work underneath.

They also drafted a tight end high last year. Their O-line also is pretty solid. If the Browns go all in on the draft and spend some more of that legendary cap space they will be tremendously more competitive this season.

The talk of miami loving mayfield could be even more true now. Im sorry but if we dont come away with a qb here and on top of it watch miami go and get one then its going to be sickening. Whether miami makes a move or not, beane better be thinking about it and imo needs to make a move. We cannot stand pat here, these qbs are going to go off the board its obvious

I know.  There is definitely some change in how teams look at expensive non-QB contracts.

Yep - Landry is tough to value too. He's the new Wes Welker, great player, but not an elite one.

He is just entering his prime. I would think great players at his age would get more than a mid round pick or two in a deal.

Think of it this way - what are the odds that you are going to find a receiver in the 3rd round that gives you 60% of what Landry produced, maybe 30%?

....Brownies could be out of the outhouse this year......

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns will acquire WR Jarvis Landry from the Dolphins in exchange for two draft picks.

Miami will acquire one pick in the upcoming draft and another in 2019. The Browns are also working on a new contract with Landry, who signed his one-year, $15.982 million franchise tender earlier this week. It looked like the Dolphins may have backed themselves into a corner by tagging a player they never actually wanted, but it all worked out in the end. Landry's salary was never an issue for the Browns, who boast over $100 million in cap space. It probably won't be enough to lure in Kirk Cousins, but the Browns do offer an intriguing receiving corps with Landry, Josh Gordon and former first-round pick Corey Coleman. Landry's 400 catches through his first four seasons are the most in NFL history. Still, it will be hard to gauge his fantasy value until we know what Cleveland's plan is at quarterback.

Gordon, Landry, Coleman, Barkley and a top young QB?

If they wanted a really quick turnaround they might be interested in McCarron. That wouldn't preclude them from drafting a qb. With an infusion of players from the draft and free agency a competent qb would make a big difference.

Of course, Landry signing with the Browns gives a better opportunity to sign other FA's too.

It could shake off some of the "nobody wants to go to Cleveland" stuff.

I am glad that Landry isn't in Miami anymore, Tannehill will miss him!

QB: Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield

RB: Barkley/Johnson

TE: Njoku

WR: Landry, Gordon, Coleman

Use the rest of those picks to fix the OL and boom.

Their OL is actually fine (assuming Thomas returns). They need secondary help desperately

Looks like Sashi Brown set them up nicely to be a potential powerhouse.

Yeah, going 1-31 was pure genius.

No doubt he will be hired by another struggling team soon to show them how to do it correctly (hint: it requires the hiring of Hue Jackson).
