Gaines got jerked around quite a bit in St. Louis and he is now in a place where people believe in him and with a scheme that really fits what he does well. I think the only way he doesn't come back is if someone offers him some ridiculous Gilmore type money.

I agree. Hopefully something reasonable can be worked out with the Bills, but if not there are teams with a lot of cap to burn and he plays a position that gets paid high dollars (Stephon Gilmore anyone?). Mccoy wont be around for much longer and mckinnon has the skill set just not all 3 downs like mccoy. Any thoughts? I had also thought about this. Likely we will bring in two running backs, but one will certainly have to play special teams. I think a good route would be add a FA RB and draft one in the mid rounds since this is a deep RB class. McKinnon is a good back, and FA RB's just don't usually get huge pay days. Would like to see him in a Bills uniform. Other options, patriots have both Burkhead and Lewis as FA's, can they keep them both? Wouldn't mind prying one of them away from. Carlos Hyde would be a different type of back to McCoy, but I don't think he has shown enough to be relied on to be a future starter here.
