God bless his family. and he was another Bill who was treated pretty terrible here. I admit the name Glass is funny but what do you expect from a guy his size playing in the nfl? Good for him for making some plays. It also goes to show that the Bills have found a lot of quality nfl players that are now playing for other teams. And many of the people in this thread are haters of players that McDermott dealt who have also had personal tragedies/turmoil to deal with. Dareus had a mountain of them.........and they have no problem pointing out what a POS he is, in their esteemed opinions. Hypocritical. Going to get all kinds on a football team.........if you are hired to HC or GM an NFL franchise and you aren't willing to win over some trust and deal with a few complicated personalities........you will fail. Loved the guy when he was here, still glad for him when he does well for the 49ers. As a father, I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. Parents should go before their kids, so they don't have to live in that hell. One totally blew off the team for his first 3 seasons and then played his walk year 20 pounds underweight not training for football a lick......even refusing to run routes in shorts at minicamp.....before his olympic trial loss. Dareus is a troubled dude who has always made a difference when he's been on the field. Hasn't always been available.....hasn't gotten himself into ideal condition either....but has been impactful and hasn't withheld services either.
