In my dreams...somebody puts a waiver claim on Hoyer ahead of the Patriots and every team facing them sends the house against Brady the rest of the year.

It's really crazy if they do not.

for an almost 2nd rounder I’m sure you can get about anyone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sure, Billicheat will talk to Marone and get Darius.

If another team's GM took a crap in Belicheat's mouth, I'm sure some of you would say, "What a genius! BB stole nutrition from that GM and gave up nothing. Why can't our GM get guys to crap in his mouth?"

Some here would be willing to clean Bellicheat's mouth with their tongue and pay for it.

Not that I would wish injury on a player, but I have to say, what if Brady gets hurt? There is no other QB on New England's roster, not on the 53 man roster, not on the practice squad, not on their injured reserve. They will need to sign a free agent off the street. It would serve Belichick right for trading his backup QB.

Beillicheat probably has a player who has played QB in past and is secretly training for them to be backup QB mastering the cheating signals.

They don't need to ... by trading both of Brady's backups it must mean that the Brady clones are ready to play now.

In their next game a battered and bloody Brady will be carted to the locker room only to have a fresh and healthy Brady clone back on the field on the next possession.

I have seen this movie before - Arnold Schwarzenegger's "The Sixth Day" - the QB is injured (non fatally) and the mad scientist (in this version played by Bellicheck) kills the QB Johnny Phoenix and replaces him with his clone. It came out same year as T*m Br*dy.

Oh wow! That's damn near a 1st round pick.

Exactly, so IMO expect NE to be drafting a QB also in 2018

Whos their backup QB now?

Maybe BB beginning to pile up draft picks and package them for Rosen.

That would 100% stink, that's not even funny to joke about Edited by xRUSHx

I'm apparently one of the few who thought JG was going to be a very good QB...I'm super happy he's no longer with NE...Watch him him turn around the 49ers organisation in a couple of years

From the pats point of view, I agree with those who say their only goal is to win the SB...if Brady goes down this year, they're not winning it...with JG or anyone else....so it makes sense to get a 2nd rounder....

I never though Crapoo was anything special and had guessed he was looking to move him when the right price came along, Castle 2.0 in my opinion. Edited by xRUSHx

Very shrewd move by Hoodie and company. Guess they must truly believe Brady is playing until he's 45 and given Belichik's history with drafting QB's they'll probably get a guy better than Jimmy G with the 2nd round pick they got from San Fran anyway.

But are you concerned?

Wasn't there a lot of talk in the offseason that Cleveland went after Garoppolo hard, and even offered the #12 pick in the draft for him?

I wondering now if that was all just rumor and BS speculation. Why wouldn't Belichick have taken the 1st?

Unless he is truly still bitter about being fired by Cleveland all those years ago and refused to help them at QB (as I've seen speculated by some).

But I can't really see him being the type to pass up the #12 pick out of spite. If he did, he's letting his emotion get the best of him.

I think it was a fairly obvious conservative move to get what they could for him, which was a decent return (Matt Schaub got two second rounders), and risk that Brady doesn't get hurt this season. They knew they couldn't keep him. I don't think it says anything about what they really think about him.

The 49ers 2nd round pick will be 1-3 picks after the first round. So its not much different than a late first rounder. So the Patriots can again select a pretty highly regarded backup QB with a 4 year contract for a guy that they most likely wouldn't of re-signed. What draft picks have the Pats turned into from trading Cassell, Brissett and Garopolo. That Pats have had misses in the draft but they also have had their hits. More picks has largely been their model. Nice to see the Bills following suit. . Great trade by the Pats in my book.

He's a vested veteran who's not subject to the waiver process.

Well damn, then I hope a team like the Packers offer him more dough.

Seems he took lessons from Peters agent now in Hell.

Winners
Jimmy Garoppolo's agent, Donald Yee: Tom Brady and Garoppolo share an agent, which always seemed like an unfortunate coincidence at best and a conflict of interest at worst. Now Yee's other quarterback joins a 49ers team presumably willing to let him start sooner than later, an opportunity Garoppolo has been waiting for since getting drafted in the second round in 2014 from Eastern Illinois.

Not to wish injury on even a nemesis

That would be freaking hilarious.

I'm not above that. I don't want him to die or something, just end his career. He's got the money, fame, rings, model wife that makes even more $ than him, and is a lock for the HOF.

It's been a good (scandalous) run, but it's time to ride off into the sunset with a blown up knee or throwing shoulder.

I'm ready for an NFL without the evidence destroyer pretty boy.
