Only in Buffalo is anyone making a big deal about who our starting rt guard is. That is not going to make a bit of difference. Our QB can not thrown the football down the field. Simple as that. He is lousy. His accuracy is questionable and he can't read a defense. Get Peterman ready for our next game. Give him a chance.

McDermott's schemes are good. You won't get more out of this marginal roster (LB's are average at best, no depth anywhere, and the offense is putrid) than what he has done so far. The man is the ultimate competitor. But we don't have the ammo to win with any scheme. Keep these schemes and get some talent on offense and at LB and this team will be tremendous.

Be honest now. Did you think this was a playoff team at the beginning of the season? Before you saw how good the defense was? Did you honestly think this team had potential?

Be honest.

I thought that this team was a playoff team the last two seasons. Seriously, Rex and Rob's mishandling of the defense was total malpractice.

Give McDermott and Beane credit for fixing the defense faster than anyone could imagine. Some of it is just getting rid of Ryan but still the FO should get the credit.

But, going into the game with a rookie WR that can't catch as the only viable WR is inexcusable. Even with Mathews they are a below average to bad group.

They must make a trade. They need a true deep threat or they will never get the running game going.

So would you be happy if we kept Sammy Watkins? He has zero catches today for the Rams even though Goff looks decent.

D line was pretty bad today too. Never got pressure really on dalton. When they did squeeze the pocket they never really were able to hit him or actually pressure him.

There were times when the defense really could've clamped down and sealed the game with sack ending drives but didn't and allowed dalton to throw all over the secondary

At the end of the day, the defense is worlds better, and the offense is back to being broken.

We had the #1 rushing attack for 2 straight years. And now where do we rank? Im afraid to look. Shady has one 100yd rushing game. Tyrod is barely running.

For two straight years they did have the #1 rushing offense, and for two straight years they had a bad defense.

I would love to see the rushing game from last season paired with McDermott's defense. That combination could get the Bills a home playoff game.

Mainly offense. Defense got 3 TOs today. Got to take better advantage of that. The 1 TD was great, and if it wasn't for that TO, we more than ,we probably don't get into the end zone at all today. Agree though that not starting Groy and not doing anything at the WR position had a big part also.

AJ Green went off, as I expected anyways, but the D did great to come away with all those TOs today. Offense and play calling put the nail in the coffin though

Way too many people are failing to trust the process today.

if the process is to pound the ball into 8 man fronts, single cover AJ Green and mismanage the offensive to the point where a below average defense can disrupt our offense all day, then I do not trust the process.

Cinci is far from a below average defense. They came into the game 3rd in scoring defense. They are 2nd in passing defense. Not sure where you get the below average stuff from.

Again, career high pass attempts for Goff and zero catches for Watkins. Is he an upgrade? That being said, Woods looks good.

You're also assuming that the Bills and Rams would use the Watkins the same way. The Rams have Woods, Kupp, Austin, Watkins, and Higbee. Gurley also gets looks in the passing game. Watkins isn't playing an AJ Green or Julio Jones role in the offense. The key focal point has been Gurley. It looks like Watkins takes the deep routes and tries to open things up underneath.

Would the Bills use him the same way? Probably not, since the Bills don't have much other support in the WR corps. Watkins would get more looks with the Bills.

But even if they feel that they HAD to get rid of Watkins, not adding a down-field threat other than Watkins thru the draft or FA is hurting the team right now. There's is not a whole lot of room at the line of scrimmage for the running game to succeed. Having a guy to take the top of the defense would be helpful.

O-line is a disgrace. Why sign Groy and start Ducasse?

Why is Mills in the NFL? If the wanted to rest Glenn until Tampa then why dress him this week?

Dawkins is much much worse than CK.

The run scheme blows too.

When you're right, you're right. And you're right on this.

McD is a defense coach. Is it possible he's simply allowing Rico and Juan to make the personnel decisions? If so, it's time to take control of the O.
