Outside of the basic requirements for good posters - having at least some basic knowledge, having a sense of humor, respecting others without taking yourself too seriously - each board has their own qualifications:

TSW requires good football knowledge, willingness to debate football matters without spiraling into an argument/trolling.

OTW requires a good sense of humor, willingness to playfully poke fun of other board members, sharing parts of our lives with the community.

PPP requires a strong constitution, the ability to back up your points with facts... and access to a shame shower after you mistakenly read one of gator's posts.

Bill from NYC is the model for me.

His posts are well-reasoned and opinionated. I don't always agree with him, but the tone of his posts welcomes debate.

Let me summarize every Bill from NYC post:

"We didn't draft an OL. We drafted a DB. Worst draft ever."

You don't agree with my example of a good poster. Disagree, but no probs.

Any comments on the substance of my post: that a good poster is well-reasoned and opinionated and welcomes debate?
