Cordy Glenn's Foot Issue is Improving

Recommended Posts

I expect this to be a problem in the regular season. Last year, we were told Shaq's shoulder wouldn't be an issue when he was drafted and look how that turned out. Also, Sammy's offseason injury which hampered in during the regular season.

Can you give us statistics for how many times a GM/Coach has said a player will be fine, and how many times they were fine, vs how many times they weren't, and then also please give us a break down of what is an acceptable ratio?

Sure, I'll get right on that! I'm sure I can get that info from the very robust analytics department that Russ Brandon promised to deliver.

Depth problems.

Right, because every team has starter-quality LT's waiting around as backups... And I believe they did draft a Tackle this year. Yeah, they did let crazy-man Kouandjio go, but... you know... he's crazy.

OL will be fine. Folks act like if someone gets hurt they'll only be fielding 4 dudes.

Personally, I'm the last guy to call a player a bust and was very patient with CK. That said, what does what happened before last training camp mattered? CK looked really solid when he played last year at a position where it's hard to find quality depth.

Agree 100%. He is still young and was improving each year. Not sure what happens to get him cut, but just about everyone on TBD was ok with it, which surprised me.

Seriously don't joke.... it's awful I have had it.

It's only a joke around here because of Byrd.

Cordy, is dealing with some unknown swelling and soreness. This on top of a bunch of ankle stuff in the spring.

Maybe it's all interconnected, but unfortunate for a solid player that's been very available for a bunch of years.

ICYMI earlier:

@ChrisBrownBills

McDermott: Cordy Glenn returns to practice today. Hyde & Lawson will be limited today. Davis & Towbridge not practicing. #Bills

@viccarucci

Cordy Glenn is back at practice for #Bills, but his status remains uncertain. At [bN] Blitz: http://buffalonews.com/2017/08/06/cordy-glenn-returns-practice-bills-status-remains-uncertain/

@john_wawrow

#Bills LT Cordy Glenn says he feels reassured about sore left foot after visiting specialist.

Without going into detail, Glenn says a practice plan has been put in place. Feels confident for start of season.

Asked if there's any risk of more damage to foot, Glenn said: "No, not right now." #Bills Just filed story on this

Nice trade Beane!!! Way to get rid of the player that stood in for Glenn perfectly last year. The hits keep coming to Beane.

fwiw Cyrus looks terrible in lions camp and has fallen behind Greg Robinson in the depth chart who is also looking terrible. When Decker returns he wil be 3rd string or cut. Could be the hip bothering him or he's just not playing well. Edited by YoloinOhio

Don't care what he looks like in practice. When the game came, the kid was already solid at LT.

different scheme this year and they need athletic OTs who can move. That's not him. He's stiff as a board. But he will probably be cut and if the Bills are desperate enough to want him back he will be available. Edited by YoloinOhio
