YoloinOhio
Where in his playing career has he been a mentor? You guys just assume because he's a veteran player he will mentor others? Maybe he just wants to play footballi don't think anyone is referring to an official mentorship program. Just that he would lead by example. He's always been very professional, reliable, and productive. He's exactly the type of player McD loves.

JM2009
The real question is...can we get this thread to a higher page count than the maclin thread? Doubt it because I think Buffalo is the only team interested at this stage, which is a good thing for the Bills. i bet the Bills sign him.

The Tomcat
I wanted him last year also. I would love this. We aren't done making moves either. Go Bills!!! (Wouldn't mind Barnage at this time either) Edited July 21, 2017 by The Tomcat
HappyDays
It says he is interested in Buffalo because of Taylor. Interesting that after Tyrod signed his new deal, he said part of the reason was to free up cap space for more receivers. We've done our part with signing Holmes, trying to get Maclin, and now Boldin.
JM2009
I've heard of him. Is this an official "kicking of the tires"? Boldin is still a useful player.
Drunken Pygmy Goat
Where in his playing career has he been a mentor? You guys just assume because he's a veteran player he will mentor others? Maybe he just wants to play footballIf anything, he's a leader by example, and teammates will notice it every day, and see what it takes to be one of the best. He made less than $3 mil last season, so he wouldn't kill too much of the remaining cap space. For relative money, it's a good/great signing. CommonCents
He'd be a great mentor for Sammy and Zay. 2 years ago would have been more exciting but even if he came in just as a mentor at this stage and a limited snap guy that would be great. I'd have hope for Sammy, minimal but some.
