26CornerBlitz
@viccarucci Hearing #Bills unlikely to pick up 5th-year option on Sammy Watkins by May 2 deadline. Not while he's still recovering from foot surgery. Maybe Vic should clean out his ears. @MatthewFairburn Sean McDermott said the Zay Jones pick does not factor into Bills' decision on Sammy Watkins' fifth-year option. Jkgobills
Great pick on Zay Jones. My guess is the Panthers would have taken him. The Bills probably thought they had to get ahead of them for sure. Jones is another pick with strong credentials in leadership (captain), and intelligence. Starting to see a trend in who McDermott likes to pick. OldTimer1960
Seems like a great pick. A better talent than Woods, who i still like as a player. Agreed. If Woods could have stayed healthy and had a better QB, he could have been very good
It's in My Blood
Bills likey not picking up the 5th year option on Sammy. Of course not, they'll extend him.
bills_fan
I read somewhere that his ceiling was like boldin which is awesome. Gotta find that article that compared him and boldin
flmike
Seems like they're targeting players who showed consistent production throughout their college careers. Which is what a GM should do. I've never understood the thinking that you take someone with great physical attributes and somehow make him into a good football player at the NFL level. Guys who were winners in college tend to be winners at the next level.
Real McClappy
This is a heavy Defensive draft!! Getting a top offensive player is a smart move here. If it was another CB then you could justify complaining. A few on the site get it

1st&ten
Still have same number of picks. Just a little lower. Well, moving from a 3rd Rd pick to a 4th Rd pick is giving up a pick in my mind.

OhDozeBills
Seeing some conflicting info on this trade. We swapped 2nds, gave up our 3rd (the late 3rd from KC) and picked up an early 4 or 5? Can someone confirm?
Real McClappy
Well, moving from a 3rd Rd pick to a 4th Rd pick is giving up a pick in my mind. And swapping a dollar for 4 quarters is still losing a dollar right?
wppete
I like the 2 guys we drafted, they both seem like quality guys and if they both start it's a bonus. I'm hoping Duke Riley is still there for us in the 3rd and I'll be ecstatic. That would be great. Wonder if Zach Cunningham will be there for us in the 3rd. OldTimer1960
Well, moving from a 3rd Rd pick to a 4th Rd pick is giving up a pick in my mind. It is actually really a 5th not a 4th. Oh the misery!
Mountain Man
Well, moving from a 3rd Rd pick to a 4th Rd pick is giving up a pick in my mind. So we got 1 pick, and lost 1 pick?

elroy16
High on SPARQ rating. 6th on WR list. Don't know much about him beyond that. Judging by the trade and first two picks, it sure looks like McD is down with analytics. https://3sigmaathlete.com/rankings/wr/ Reading some of the scouting reports, it sounded like he may not be the most athletic guy and his production was more a result of the system than him dominating. This makes me feel a lot better about it.
