How important r Canadian fans to the survival of the Bills?

Recommended Posts

A.) important. They are extra piece that kept us here through the years. They pump cash into western NY.

B.) slightly important. Since we got Terry and Kim its not as big a deal, but they matter a little.

C.) i will always hate them because they had some responsibility

for the Toronto games. Wish they would stay home and watch the Argos or Tiger Cats.

D.) unimportant. We are one "Buffalo"

E.) Dont make me go James Hardy on you.

If they are Bills fans they are Bills fans.

Why do you ask how important they are?

Are they given any perks to be bills fans?

Should they be given any discounts to stay fans.

Should they have to pay more to be fans?

Should they have to wear a special hat to identify them at the game?

Should they have to enter the stadium at special gates?

Should they have to have a special decal on the car window to get them through the boarder?

Should the Bills play the Canadian national anthem at each game?

Should they all have to park in a special lot ?

Should they all have to wait for all the other fans to leave the stadium before they can leave?

Should they have to enter the stadium an hour before they let everyone else in ?

Should they have a French speaking announcer at the stadium?

Should they only be allowed to drink Canadian Beer?

Should they have to use a special Bathroom?

Should they make them clean the stadium before thy can leave?

Should they be allowed to be a member of TBD? (I say yes)

No less or more important than non Buffalo area fans such as Rochester, Erie, and all the outlaying regions, and or any other area that equally makes up about 20% of the season ticket base

Why the question?

E.) Dont make me go James Hardy on you.

Is my J Hardy autographed hat worth anything then?

It's dirty but I'll box it up in bubble wrap and include an old Madonna Playboy from 1985

Up here the fanbase would go overboard supporting a winner, as it did for the Kelly Era, and push the scalper ticket price up, but survival wouldn't be the issue. Bills sell out regardless with the current product out there.

This is an interesting topic that needs to be explored.

Are Canaidian fans important. Well, this is quite relative. I submit that if we must do the nazi thing and rate then I suggest that Canadian fans are more important than say Saudi Arabian fans. Canadian fans have better beer, the women wear clothing that shows off their curves, and they are more likely to do ribs on the bbq during tailgating. Certainly Canadian fans would complain more about the price of beer in the stadium as all the Saudi's are so rich they would not. The Saudi's would buy more club seats and boxes than Canadian fans. So the Canadian fans are actually taking seats from Americans , so that is a negative I am sure.

Saudi fans usually ride in limos so they do not take prime tailgating spots at Hammers Lot, so once again they are more important to Americans. Of course Americans must bow to the Saudi's for supplying the oil used to make the gas to allow the tailgating, and you don't want to piss them off and not sell the oil to you.

So in a round about way Saudi's are more important to the Bills than the Canadian fans.

However, finally the true test, as a Canadian Bills fan, who tailgated every game for 17 years, who shared many many beers, shots, ribs, jambalaya, sausage, chairs, fires, tents, high fives, tears, joy, hugs, ticket lines (before the on line sales) etc etc, I never once found a true Bills fan, even concerned about the question of where I was from. We were and are united under the banner of the Bills.
